RON PAUL IS STILL ELIGIBLE FOR THE GOP NOMINATION.

As Alaska did, sending Ron Paul DVDs to all National GOP Delegates is essential for the Freedom Movement

Many of you are aware that Ron Paul officially suspended his campaign a couple of weeks ago. What many are not aware of, however, is that this campaign suspension was merely a legal formality, governing the use of Ron Paul's campaign donations.

RON PAUL IS STILL ELIGIBLE FOR THE GOP NOMINATION.

Similar to Mitt Romney, Dr. Paul is no longer actively campaigning, but *IS* still eligible to win the GOP nomination, and WILL still have bound delegates present at the Republican National Convention in September.

The phenomenal success of Ron Paul's delegates at this past weekend's Nevada Republican state convention attest to how active and excited the Ron Paul movement is to elect him the GOP nominee.

The purpose of the DVDs 4 Delegates project  ([link edited for length] ) is to produce a series of 4 professional-quality DVDs tailored specifically to the entire base of GOP delegates, and to send these 4 DVDs to every GOP delegate and alternate in the country. These DVDs will each be around 90 minutes long, for a total series length of about 6 hours.

Within these 4 DVDs, we will explain to the delegates:

-- How the Republican Party has drifted from its original conservative principles, and why this is causing a mass exodus from this party.

-- Which actions will be needed for the Republican Party to return to its conservative, Constitutional roots, and how this will strengthen the party.

-- How Ron Paul is the portrait of a real conservative, and how McCain is the opposite.

-- Evidence that McCain won't be able to win the general election against Obama.

-- Notification that Dr. Paul is STILL ELIGIBLE for the GOP nomination, and explanation of the delegate process (bound/unbound; there are still enough unbound delegates to elect Dr. Paul!)

-- Explanation of our country's current economic crisis, and how the bad policies and principles of both the Democrats and Neocons have brought us to this point; and what can be done to restore prosperity to our country.

-- The moral and legal implications of the GOP delegates choosing to support Dr. Paul at the Republican National Convention.

-- Practical advice about the workings of the national convention, and what a GOP delegate who wants to support Dr. Paul needs to do.

The DVDs won't have any external indication that they are related to Ron Paul; rather, the DVDs will be mailed out and presented (truthfully!) as important information that the GOP delegates need to know before they vote at the national convention.

Keep in mind that there are several good reasons to educate the GOP delegates: not only do they have the power to elect Dr. Paul the GOP nominee, but these delegates are also the current and future leaders of the Republican Party. If they watch these DVDs and begin critically thinking about and questioning the neocon principles, and begin understanding why supporting freedom is crucial to this country's future, we may see a significant change in the GOP in future years and elections. NOW is the time to reach these delegates.

After the DVDs are sent, we will have volunteers "adopting" delegates, to call them, make sure that they have watched the dvds, and answer any questions they have. We need to get to know these GOP delegates personally, for this project to have the most impact.

We have made great progress on the creative aspects of this project, but presently, DVDs 4 Delegates is seriously underfunded! We need everyone who still wants Dr. Paul to have a shot at the GOP nomination, to donate anything you can to this project:

Please Donate to DVDs 4 Delegates Here:
[link edited for length] (click on Donate)

If you make a donation, your money will be used to provide DVDs to delegates from YOUR state.

We need a total donation of $3500 from each state. At present, almost every state is extremely short of this fundraising target.

The DVDs' content will be posted on YouTube as they are completed. However, please don't wait until then to donate to this project.

The Ron Paul movement achieved world records in the past, when funding Dr. Paul's campaign. Please, donate to the DVDs 4 Delegates project, and help us to fight for this last chance to educate and change the opinions of the GOP delegates to the national convention. Even a donation of $5 from each Ron Paul supporter will do a tremendous amount to help realize this important, and possibly historically significant, project. The GOP delegates aren't going to magically change their minds on their own; we need to reach out to them NOW and communicate the importance of their role as delegates, and how the candidate they choose to elect at the national convention is a serious moral choice for them.

Thanks in advance for your help! Feel free to email me with any questions.

I love the DVD idea... but I had no idea that they were going to be THAT LONG. I sure hope it's edited in an entertaining way... otherwise you'll be lucky if they make it through the 1st 30 min!

Maybe the circulating book might be a better idea?

After all... I think that is why he wrote it the way he did?

the Campaign is over, but is the campaign over?

some will say that Dr. Paul himself has said so - but has he? Listen very carefully to what he says and writes - listen and read at lest TWICE! the good doctor does not speak like the others, his words have meaning, compared to him, theirs don't...

here lately, when he speaks, he is speaking to three audiences at the same time:

  • the Federal Election Commission and to compliance with federal and state election laws
  • to voters and the general public not yet for liberty and constitution
  • to us, we that know (or should know) that nothing has changed, that for the sake of liberty and constitution he did, does, and still needs to be nominated from the floor and then elected by the Delegates in Convention as the Republican Party Nominee, and then finally elected by General Election voters to the White House (who would argue that he does not?)

as to the first - he nails it!
as to the second - there are still folks coming to the banner of freedom - he is nailing that too!
as to the third - he hasn't the power nor the responsibility to do what only what we can do...

if he nails the third, it will be because we have the ears to hear and the eyes to see, and the determination in our hearts like that of Ron Paul and the founding fathers - to never quit, to not give up, to finish the race...all the way across the finish line - you can't win if you quit before finishing the race and as any runner knows, you give it all you have, and nothing less, all the way through to the end, only after crossing the finish line do you let up

This years race has never been about the person of Dr. Paul - it is about the the message - the message that is not his alone - it is our message, the message of our forefathers - Ron Paul only offered himself as a candidate for the message - he is not a Ron Paul supporter, we are - it is not up to him to finish what he alone did not start - it is up to us - it is our responsibility, our joint responsibility and our personal responsibility

do not expect him to be something he is not, do not expect him to be like the others, do not expect to hear the words of others in him...
study Dr. Paul - he is not a shallow man (and we may yet prove him to be the smartest guy in this election cycle)

every real and good reason to stand tall for Ron Paul at any point in time, is still just as valid

Pointless endeavor. The Republican Party is not listening to the Movement. Working within the two major parties is a MAJOR mistake. The delegates have to represent the elected wishes of their respective state Republican voters. They have their man, and it's McCain. The Republican voters CHOSE McCain.

RD: Pointless endeavor.

pointless as other endeavors that succeeded when the chances were long? (RD associates himself with the King/Queen (and the Borg), while we choose to associate ourselves with George Washington, and many other heroes of Liberty - the reader is encouraged to choose for yourself. answer this to yourself, is resistance futile? and how would you that George Washington, Ron Paul, and many others answer that question?)

RD: The Republican Party is not listening to the Movement.

not true (could be true IF Ron Paul is considered alien to "the Movement," but we do not think so. if there is a personification of "the Movement" it is Ron Paul - the man who has been "moving," steadfast and true, for 30+ years. to abandon the effort to nominate the Champion of the Constitution now, is to abandon or sabotage "the Movement."  moreover, more and more Republicans are opening up to what Ron Paul has to say as a direct result of support for him - 'tis a necessarily step and one that for the sake of Liberty should be encouraged, not dismissed, ignored, nor quashed by any that love Liberty first)

RD: Working within the two major parties is a MAJOR mistake.

again, not true (true for one since '72, not true for the other...yet, and never if we the people but make it so. Ron Paul holds ground there - it will only be lost by yielding it, as the enemy wishes. neither we nor Ron Paul are about to part company with John Paul Jones - look it up, we ain'ts ya daddy)

RD: The delegates have to represent the elected wishes of their respective state Republican voters.

misleading, false, and not true (if RD is speaking of so-called "Bound Delegates," then delegates are still Delegates and have the power to represent, to exercised independent judgment on behalf of all Republicans back home, their State Party, and the National Party, despite efforts to make delegates, puppets. full discloser - there are approximately 40 that could face a misdemeanor fine (like a traffic ticket) if they fail to be a puppet, but no Delegate has ever been charged when they exercised their right. why haven't they? because PAs know that such a charge would not stand and all ground gained to make Delegates puppets would be lost - the myth would be busted. for those familiar with the assault on the right of juries, 'tis a similar thing - individual's rights diminished to force compliance and conformity)

RD: They have their man, and it's McCain. The Republican voters CHOSE McCain.

patently false on both counts (not one Convention Vote has been cast, and the vast majority of registered Republican votes cast were not for McCain)

RD's message is that of the McCain Camp, as they are campaigning vigorously (desperately?) for Convention Delegate Votes in this pre-convention stretch of the long and winding road to the White House.

the only thing missing in RD's posted comment is the falsehood being told, "Paul has no support" - although, many Ron Paul supporters are trying to make it less a falsehood (...thinking, "with friends like these" who needs to engage in off-camera campaigning for Convention Delegate Votes for McCain?). There are in fact Ron Paul Republicans, and they have a growing number of Republican Allies, and Republican Friends. How large and committed this number will or will not be, come the Convention, or if it continues to grow or dwindles, depends on the support of Ron Paul supporters. If Ron Paul Republican Convention Delegates do not receive enough support from Ron Paul supporters, then RD and McCain will have their way. withholding support for the nomination of Ron Paul is de facto support for McCain - Ron Paul supporters for McCain? God forbid! it grieves our souls to think there would be even one Ron Paul supporter, willfully and with foreknowledge, withhold his or her support.

it is interesting to see the on-camera and off-camera campaigning of the McCain Camp - if the first is true, why the second? methinks it is that they have learned by Mitt's Mistake in WV - they know that on-camera, the 2008 Republican National Convention is an event, but off-camera, it is a convention - and what has happened "In Convention" at conventions past, can happen at any convention, including this one coming up - that they know the "it's a lock" and "it's in the bag" while likely, is still more perception than fact. they do take comfort in the media's promotion of the perception, but are not relying on it. a smart move on their part. they that work hard will always lose to they that work harder smarter.

also interesting is that while some so called Paul supporters are saying, "it's over" and "no chance," the actions of the McCain Camp's off-camera endeavors indicate they don't believe it.

bottom line? RD is campaining for McCain via the lack of power that knowledge brings (a MSM adiction perhapps?) or as an agent, or agent provocateur
