Ron Paul Needs Allies in Congress

Americans need to seek out and support Congressional candidates who mirror the principles and values of Ron Paul. They will need significant donations to challenge big money incumbents. Many websites are organically springing up that address this need

The Second American revolution may be upon us, led by a 72 year old with time-tested and true ideas about governing a country. With millions in the campaign coffers, Ron Paul is in this for the long haul and to win. He and his mass of grass roots supporters have taken up the fight against the wealthy governing classes. It's an ambitious effort but supporters of the good doctor know you must fight fire with, well... snow! What does that mean you say? Using large numbers of people donating small amounts of money - each individual donation a tiny snowflake that's part of a larger storm that can completely cover the ground. The online support for Ron Paul is proving this works.

Whether they stumbled upon their strategy or it was planned from the start, the Ron Paul campaign is continually gaining momentum. And it may end up with a victory in the polls and eventually the Republican nomination. His message is simple: limited government, lower taxes and no policing the world. This is the exact message of the George Bush candidacy in 2000 and the exact opposite of what the Bush Administration has done. This message is diametrically opposed to every other candidate, Republican or Democrat, in the race for the 2008 presidency. It's a sad dayin American politics when only one candidate in a race for the most prestigious and highest office in the land is not ownedby special interest group(s).The founding fathers risked life, limb, security and prosperity in an effort to achieve self-governance. I don't wish to rehash what you already know. But I will advise you to heed the warnings of these educated, brave and formidable men. They lived through a period of high taxation and oppression. They lived through tyrannical rule. They lived though political corruption and propagandist media. And they concocted a plan to free themselves from the chains that bound them. Their aim was simple: to live free or die. They won and America was born. These visionaries then crafted a society where freedom reigned. But the alluring pull of power has proven too strong to resist. The wealthier have risen to form a governing class'; and they desire to keep it that way at the expense of honest, hard-working citizens. With the establishment of consortiums like the Federal Reserve Banking System and the passage of unconstitutional laws and executive orders (right under our under our noses and those of the congressional representatives we elected to protect us), the governing class of wealthy aristocrats now controls virtually everything we read, see and hear. The only outlet left for freedom of information is the Internet and they are trying to regulate that! It is the last bastion of the free mass exchange of ideas. Ron Paul is NOT in favor of regulating the Internet. He believes we should abolish the Federal Reserve Banking System. He wants to shut down the Internal Revenue Service. He advocates a return to sound monetary policies. I could go on but I refer you to his website where you can read his own words. Ron Paul's ideas are an amalgamation of the founding fathers' vision for America. His plans for our country are time-tested, tried and true. Yet the so-called establishment candidates and their media moles challenge them effectively spitting in the faces of our founders. To suggest the principles that founded this country are outdated is preposterous and part of the propaganda machine, commissioned by the governing classes, to covertly discredit the very ideals of a free society. Ron Paul is leading this fight for freedom a fight to get back to the constitutional principles that gave birth to the greatest nation on earth the United States of America.

But, truth be told, even if elected president he cannot do it alone. Ron Paul will need allies in congress. America must, in addition to working for a Ron Paul presidency, work to change the complexion of our House and Senate if we want to see real change. With the passage of multiple pieces of unconstitutional legislation coupled with an approval rating below 12%, our congressional representatives have failed us miserably. They've allowed the debasement of our currency, they've spent us and many future generations into a legacy of debt-induced servitude and they've sold out our best interests in favor of Special Interests who finance their campaigns and subsidized their high-society lifestyles. Americans should seek out and support candidates that espouse the ideals of freedom, prosperity and peace. You can fight fire with snow!

Indeed, Dr. Paul needs allies in many political arenas. The problem lies therein, however, as Congress and many other seats of alleged public service are replete with frauds, traitors, and bafoons. So it is We The People who must use our votes to rally support for Dr. Paul, as well as filling some seats with honest and truly patriotic people of stances critical to some of Dr. Paul's views in order to maintain a healthy, balanced, and debatable government.

The Truth WILL set us all free.

I have good news and bad news. The bad news, first!

Ron Paul will never ever get away with some of his more sensational plans if elected into the presidency. Not with the democrats in office, not with most of the Republicans in office. Not Nancy Pelosi, and she let W. Bush off! Nobody will lend Mr. P. a hand. That's the bad news. The good news, however, is Ron Paul's Congress will need to be filled up with  people of other parties, such as the Constitution Party, America First Party, Libertarians, and other new parties which will change the political landscape for good.

That is my goal: Get somebody in office who will shake up our political structure. No more of this two party system. No more of this non-Democratic hodge-podge of stealing our money from right under our nose, and no more deception. Can we do that, to aid Ron Paul? Hmmmm.... I do not even think Paul's grassroots will need to do anything. It will happen organically because of the climate that Ron Paul has put in place. What a dream come true: More democracy to aid the average person. I wonder wether the Democratic Party will evolve, as well? Something drastic will change, and I am glad this is finally happening to the United States of America!

I don't really care if President Ron Paul can't implement any of his proposals on the domestic side. He doesn't need Congressional support to end America's insane foreign policy and bring troops home to defend the national security of the US.

Only good news!

I’ve “no doubt” Dr. Paul will set plans ahead as he described and report to “We the People”.

Same goes for “Every Representatives” Democrats or Republicans etc. It’s mandatory, they report to “The People” whom they represent. The immediate people has the power to hold each “Accountable for their Actions and Inactions” and “Recall” if necessary.

It is “We the People” will lend Dr. Paul a hand for his ideas, suggestions and of the will of the American people “We Will Succeed” and that's good thing. I’ve great confidence; Dr. Paul will fill up his cabinet members with people of highest integrity and set a “Highest Standards” for the currently corrupted branch.

It is through the will of “We the People” to elect a sound leader to represent America by the constitutional structure set fort.

It is “We the People” desired to reinterpret of party system and eliminate one which does not serve “The People” it represents.

It is “We the People” to make it a crime for deception, distortion, and false democracy namely media, special interests, private entity etc. "At all level"

It is “We the People” reinstating the Constitution of the United States of America through the honorable Dr. Paul.

It is “We the People” operate the United States Government with pride and dignity through Dr. Paul.

It is “We the People” created the government and can recreate at will.

Power to “We the People”

Your headline should have read, "Jeff Flake needs allies in Congress." Cong. Flake of Arizona has scored as the "most libertarian" for the last three years on the distinguished Liberty Index published by Dr. Clifford Thies and the Republican Liberty Caucus www.rlc.org. Flake is at least consistently 5 points ahead of Paul. And Paul actually finished behind Cong. Dana Rohrabacher of California in the past, as well. But of course, Flake is a loyal Republican, so you won't see partisan Libertarian Party boards like this praising him. And they always right Paul off as "just a fluke." That's how they justify, Paul's Republican affiliation. Even though Ron Paul was a George Bush/Tom DeLay man in the 1990s.

Ah, yes. Eric. Lover of labels. Who do you crown "most Libertarian presidential candidate" this week, Eric? Is it still gun-grabbing Rudy?

Still angry about being fired from Ron's staff?
