Opening up their lists of attendees (well some of them) on Wikipedia

Just some dot connecting.

The Bilderberg Group opened up their lists of attendees (well some of them) on Wikipedia after many years of secrecy.

The Economist, owned by Pearson PLC, was one of few publications allowed at the Bilderberg Meeting this year in VA.

Apparently, competitors of the Economist claim that the writers are "overconfident young graduates of elite English universities who lack originality." [link edited for length]

James K. Galbraith, an economic journalist, says that the publication follows a pro-globalisation agenda. [link edited for length]

Galbraith argues that America today has fallen prey to a wealthy, government-controlling "predatory class" saying,

"Today, the signature of modern American capitalism is neither benign competition, nor class struggle, nor an inclusive middle-class utopia. Instead, predation has become the dominant feature--a system wherein the rich have come to feast on decaying systems built for the middle class.

The predatory class is not the whole of the wealthy; it may be opposed by many others of similar wealth. But it is the defining feature, the leading force. And its agents are in full control of the government under which we live." [link edited for length]

The Socialist Party (UK) says the Economist is "a mouthpiece of international financial capital."

Why does Socialism in the 21st Century sound like Brave New World?

Hannah Sell claims:

"Modern capitalism has created riches beyond the wildest dreams of our grandparents and great-grandparents, with the potential for far more...Humankind has developed science and technique to a level that was unimaginable to previous generations...Humanity is capable of space exploration, has mapped the human genome, can modify genes and clone animals, yet we cannot feed the world on the basis of capitalism. For most of human history it has not been possible to satisfy even the most basic human needs.

Now, as a result of the labour and ingenuity of working people, the potential exists to eliminate want forever. The barrier to achieving this is the capitalist system itself. Based as it is on the private ownership of the productive forces (factories, offices, science and technique), capitalism creates immense inequality and deprivation when the potential exists for providing the material components of a decent life for all."

Also check out Bilderberg attendee Heather Reisman, founder of Indigo Books (thought to have hostilely taken over Chapters.) This is an interesting consumer blog about Indigo Books - [link edited for length]

The Editor of this blog claims to have seen her speak, claiming Heather said "I think that in the future, libraries will become obsolete."

Sounding 1984-ish to you?

These are some of the wealthiest and most powerful people in the world. They meet in secret once a year. What do they discuss? Why do they meet in secret? You don't have to be a suspicious person to imagine  they are up to no good.
