With the end of his remarkable presidential campaign, Congressman Ron Paul made two big announcements. First, he introduced his new Campaign for Liberty, an organization to help elect libertarian-leaning citizens to public office. Also, Paul called for a big rally on September 2nd in St. Paul, Minnesota. The rally, which will be at the University of Minnesota, will coincide with the Republican National Convention a few miles away. Paul hopes to draw at least 11,000.

But with all the hype of this Minnesota rally, left out of the spotlight is the other rally Paul called for a couple months ago - the March in Washington, DC.

All the information about the July 12th march and rally can be found at www.revolutionmarch.com.

From the website regarding details of the rally following the march:

While all the hype and buzz is currently coming from the idea of a St. Paul super rally, don't forget about the other super rally Dr. Paul called for - the March on Washington - July 12th, 2008!

If someone doesn't make Ron Paul their VP candidate, I'm moving back to Europe.  I cannot bear to watch our country go completely down the toilet.  I may as well live in Europe, have national health insurance and a better quality of life.  Politicans in Washington and their partners in crime (the media repeaters) have destroyed America.  I'd rather not sit here helpless and watch the slow painful death.

Gooby...

I hope you are prepared to be disappointed, because there isn't the slighest chance that McCain or Obama is going to make Dr Paul their running mate. As for moving to Europe so you'd have national health insurance... well, you might want to listen closer to Dr Paul; message of freedom, liberty and Responsibility. Handing out free health insurance isn't on his agenda.

I hope you will join the group in Minneapolis or Washington DC to find out more. Please don't get angry to show your support. That won't get the attention we are looking for.

I want to say that I would give just about anything to be able to go to DC in July with  you guys.  The message Dr. Paul brought out has opened my eyes to the possibility that I am not alone in seeing that our whole country has gone to hell.  He is the first candidate I have ever wanted to vote for.  His campaign is the only one I have ever donated to.  My domestic responsibilities and my position of financial embarrassment make it impossible for me to attend the march, but I want to let everyone know that I, and many like me, will be there in spirit and will be vocal cheerleaders back at the farm - so to speak!  The Idaho republicans seem to be starting to wake up, let's pray it starts a trend.

For the first time in my life, I am excited to see what the future of the US holds.  Viva la r3voluvion!

I am excited about the Washington Rally. It took me a couple of days to recover from the shock of Dr. Paul pulling out of the presidential campaign, and I am now back in the saddle, ready to ride the trail.

The Washington DC rally is less than a month away now. It will be a wonderful chance to get to know each other, and to demonstrate who Ron Paul is by who we are. Americans need to see and feel the excitement that impels us to travel to Washington D.C. from all over the country.

It is the first time I have felt hopeful about our situation in many decades; I look forward to expressing it publicly and sharing a day with like-minded freedom seekers.

 love
