Bilderberg, Bush, & Blair Blackout... by Freedom Writer

Why is it that when there is really noteworthy news, the mainstream media (MSM) is not there? Within just the last few days, minor events such as the Bilderberg Conference (where powerful world leaders got together in nefarious secrecy to discuss world issues), Dennis Kucinich presenting 35 articles of impeachment against President Bush, and a hunger strike by Blair Gadsby in front of McCain's office calling for an independent 9-11 investigation are all but ignored by the mainstream media.
Let's take a look at how the MSM covers these events:
Bilderberg Conference 2008:
The mainstream media actually published it's first press release acknowledging that this event was taking place.
This press release about the Bilderberg Conference was very reassuring as it spelled out in detail how all of the powerful and influential people that were attending this conference were meeting for the greater good of mankind.
Interestingly enough, the press release ended with the following statement:
"There will be no press conference."
Ok, so that is great information, we now we know that the conference happened. And we're supposed to take them at their word that there are no nefarious deeds being done at this top secret meeting. But, does anybody know what happened inside the conference?
Oops, I almost forgot, since there was "no press conference" how can anyone know what went on behind those closed doors (shhhh... it's a secret...).
If it looks like mainstream media blackout, smells like mainstream media blackout, then by George, it must be mainstream media blackout...
Is it constitutional for US elected officials to attend the Bilderberg Conference? Is it legal (note that I couldn't write constitutional here since the Federal Reserve is unconstitutional) for the Chair of the Federal Reserve - Ben Bernanke - to attend?
If you ever heard of the Logan Act then you already know the answer.
No, it is not legal. In fact, the Logan Act is a federal law (maybe that is why feds feel like they can break it) that forbids unauthorized citizens from negotiating with foreign governments. Violation of the Logan Act is a felony, punishable under federal law with imprisonment of up to three years.
So, where is the outcry from the mainstream media...? As always, the mainstream media says nothing.
However, Alex Jones didn't keep quiet, he was there in Chantilly, Maryland with a bullhorn...
Dennis Kucinich - 35 articles for the impeachment of George Bush:
A search on Yahoo news yields a whopping 39 articles from various sources:
"News Stories for kucinich impeach bush (Results 31 - 39 of about 39)"
Some of these sources are from well-known news agencies such as:
Russian Information Agency Novosti
PanARMENIAN.Net
Kavkaz Center
Scoop.co.nz
Anorak
It's refreshing to know that the above mentioned news agencies find that it is worth reporting on Kucinich presenting articles to impeach Bush. Since this newsworthy event happened in Washington, D.C., you would think that the Washington Post might have covered it. Well, actually, they did not. However, if you do a search on the Internet using "Kucinich impeach Bush Washington Post", you will find that this event happened in "Washington" D.C., and that you could "Post" your comments... and that is about all you will get regarding the Washington Post...
Almost all of the articles (to be fair, out of the 39 sources, there were some mainstream media articles from well-known sources such as the Miami Herald, Seattle Times, the Houston Chronicle, etc.) said the same thing (about 2 paragraphs worth of info...). Here is an excerpt from one of the articles (acutally it is just about the whole article):
"Mon Jun 9, 8:17 PM ET WASHINGTON - Rep. Dennis Kucinich, a former Democratic presidential contender, said Monday he wants the House to consider a resolution to impeach President Bush.
Speaker Nancy Pelosi consistently has said impeachment was "off the table."
Kucinich, D-Ohio, read his proposed impeachment language in a floor speech. He contended Bush deceived the nation and violated his oath of office in leading the country into the Iraq war."
Yep, that's about all that was covered... no mention of what the 35 articles of impeachment are...
I watched Kucinich on C-Span as he presented the 35 articles. In contrast to the scanty coverage the MSM supplied (as stated above hardly any major newspaper or newstation covered this news...) Kucinich's website has more than enough info to read regarding the impeachable evidence... If you want to know what the 35 articles of impeachment are, then this is worth checking out.
Note that the main reasons for impeaching Bush is because he violated the Constitution of the US.
So, where is the outcry from the mainstream media...? As always, the mainstream media says nothing.
If it looks like mainstream media blackout, smells like mainstream media blackout, then by George, it must be mainstream media blackout...
Blair Gadsby - Hunger strike for new 9-11 investigation:
Here is the link to the [video] by Arizona State Senator Karen Johnson as she talks about Blair Gadsby and an independent investigation for 9-11.
Here is [the link to the article] titled: Phoenix 9/11 Truth Activist to Start Hunger Strike at McCain's Office: Memorial Day, 5:00PM, May 26, 2008 at the office of Senator John McCain.
And here are some brief excerpts:
"Phoenix, AZ, May 21, 2008 - In an effort to bring national attention to the 9/11 truth issue, Phoenix activist, Blair Gadsby, a professor of Religious Studies, plans to start a hunger strike on Memorial Day, at the Phoenix office of Senator John McCain. Gadsby is putting the spotlight on McCain because of McCain's avowed support for the official account of 9/11. McCain is the author of the foreword to the 2006 Popular Mechanics book, Debunking 9/11 Myths: Why Conspiracy Theories Can't Stand Up to the Facts.
...But today, he [McCain] is in a perilous position. By writing the Foreword to the official cover-up story, he has sided with the corrupt and war-mongering elements in our society and government."
Blair Gadsby has been severely weakened by his hunger strike, at last count he hasn't eaten in 16 days...
So, where is the outcry from the mainstream media...? As always, the mainstream media says nothing.
If it looks like mainstream media blackout, smells like mainstream media blackout, then by George, it must be mainstream media blackout...
