Emma Goldman is on to something (in her article Here).
Consider this 1971 quote from a leading environmentalist intellectual:
"The continued rapid cooling of the earth since WWII is in accord with the increase in global air pollution associated with industrialization, mechanization, urbanization and exploding population." Reid Bryson, "Global Ecology; Readings towards a rational strategy for Man", (1971)
REF: June 5th, 2008 Downsize DC newsletter, from Jim Babka.

I've recently become associated as a volunteer for what is called a 'pro-man' environmental group, whose mission will be dedicated to exposing the dishonesties, the public frauds, and the people and organizations responsible for the 'anti-man' environmentalist groups of today (such a conviction is what I've held describes groups like today's Sierra Club).
---
If you would like to voluntarily contribute evidence in support of the 'pro-man' or 'anti-man' stance of various environmental groups of today, please post it in the comments of this article, below.
This will index will be compiled and periodically published as an index, here on Nolan Chart.
Happy 'Turning on My Lights' day!
