A Badge of Honor? Why Not "Paulians?" Enthusiastic Ron Paul supporters have been tagged with diminutive names in an attempt to marginalize and belittle them. This is not the first time in history something like this has happened!by creator

♣ Foes and detractors of Dr. Ron Paul and the principles that he stands for have frequently reacted dismissively when faced with the evident tidal wave of Ron Paul supporters. We have been called many names: Paulistas, Ronulans, Paultards, Paulistinians, Paulbots, Paulians.
However, with minimal prompting, you will certainly recall that this is not the first time in history such venomous marginalizing has occurred.
In fact, not long after the commonly acknowledged turning point of history, memorialized and celebrated world-wide every year as "Christmas", the followers of one Jesus of Nazareth - a.k.a. "The Christ" - were tagged with a name intended to dismiss them.
"And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch." - Acts 11:26
That name, "Christian," a diminutive of "Christ" - was gladly adopted and acknowledged by Jesus' followers who are, every one, more than glad to be recognized as emulating the Savior Whom they adulate. Over the next 2,000 years, Jesus' followers have spread the glorious message of His birth and the word of His teaching world-wide.
Without in any way intending to place him at the level of Christ - of Whom Dr. Paul also is a follower - I would like to merely point out that "Paulian," to those familiar with Dr. Paul's teachings, is not a half-bad term of identification. Would that there might be more "Paulians," in the country at large, and in a church that professes to know and follow the teachings of Jesus. Are you promoting Dr. Paul at your church?
Another great man called Paul, namely the Apostle, once said this:
"Be followers of me, even as I also am of Christ." - 1st Corinthians 11:1
And so, from one Paulian to another, I consider it a Badge of Honor to be a follower of Ron Paul, who in his constitution-based platform, in his integrity, and in his humble personality, I perceive to be an authentic follower of Jesus Christ.
God bless Ron Paul and God Bless us Paulians, every one! Let's all try to live up to the name!

Everytime I hear someone belittle Ron Paul or a supporter of Ron Paul I just channel my anger into helping Ron Paul get elected.
I feel sorry for these people because they simply are not educated enough to realize they have a once in a lifetime chance to elect an honest President who will look after us - the little guys.
I'm proud to call myself a PaulTard! As offensive as it is to some, it has a nice ring to it. And, it was coined by an anti-PaulTard, so it's fun to take something offensive and let it be turned into something that smells like FREEDOM!
From this observer's point of view, it's looking like the status-quo is on the run. The latest indication I have seen is the increasing number of articles discussing Ron Paul as an independent candidate. The Republican party leadership would love that, wouldn't they? They're essentially saying, "You're peeing on our parade, Ron. Take your campaign and supporters somewhere that we can have a better chance of marginalizing you and controlling peoples opinions!" The Democrats are probably almost as nervous, as Paul is increasingly being viewed as the candidate to take on Hillary and actually have a good chance of winning.
Ron Paul will not run as an independent. He is running as a Republican for good reasons. He's a Republican, and the system has been rigged to sqash anyone except Republicans and Democrats. We've all been programmed to think in these terms, so he's made up his mind to run in his party to have any chance from the outset. Lot's of different folks out there are racking their brains trying to think of ways they can break the tidal wave of support that the message is building among Americans. They're perplexed because the more they try to mold public opinion, the more his supporters will show up to defend him against the insinuations and outright lies and insults they hurl not only at Ron Paul and his supporters, but at Americans everywhere. Describing his campaign as insurgent, quixotic, long-shot, and even dangerous, the anti-Paul forces are making a big effort to hang whatever negative label they can on Ron Paul-ism.
It just so happens that his message of limited Federal government is a beacon of hope. Following the Constitution, and backing up our money with something other than consumer confidence, is very appealing. So appealing in fact, that when most people take the time to research the man and discover his voting record, they're hooked. They hear he's been against the Iraq war from the beginning , but supported going after Bin Laden and the Taliban in Afghanistan, and they are intrigued. "What, a Republican who isn't licking the boots of the GOP, let alone the Bush administration? And he gets re-elected by his constituents? Hmmm..." Next thing you know, they have a Ron Paul bumper sticker and are searching the internet for more news, hoping the Ron Paul campaign is continuing to gain momentum.
