Israel is the reason. To understand completely ours and other countries incursions into the hot sands of the ages we must first believe in the Holy Bible phophecies or have an understanding of them. The occurence of 911 was the tipping point which as we know allowed us to venture to the Afgan and Iraq centers of corruption, drug money, oil and a central basing area in contact with every major player in the area. We have the largest embassy in the world in Bagdad, over twelve enormous and fully functional military bases and approximately 200,000 troops in the area when contractors, special ops, the U.S. Army, Navy, Marines and CIA are included. It is here that the last battles of the world will be fought and the Bible has stated that those who protect Israel will be blessed and those who don't will be cursed. Oil and land are icing on the cake and help support our economy and Iraq's while this operation continues.
Make no mistake: There will be a war with Iran and Russia will also be involved. This will not be the final battle but one of many continuing up to the last final battle of Armagedon. The strain will crank our economy back to war time manufacturing such as during World war II but oil will be higher as insurance coverage on tankers explodes with the bombs flying over them. Everyone of age will be drafted and special skills of older ages will be called up as there will be an all out push against Russia and Iran. Terrorists will attack our country unabated. You say I'm crazy? The truth will be in the pudding of which there will be little.
These are not normal times or even normal bad times. This is the beginning of the end of the world as we know it. The United States must stand up for the "chosen people and land" of the Lord or it will suffer double punishment. There are hard times ahead. May God have mercy on us as we move forward.

Are you the same Locke who said we should stay in Iraq because of their oil? Now you switched to biblical prophecy to defend Israel as a reason to stay there?
 Well I won't argue biblical prophecy with you, but as far as I recall Jesus never said we should go blast the shorts off a bunch of innocent Muslims.
The fun thing about religious prophecy is that some people from every generation though Armageddon was going to happen during their lifetime. I stopped caring WHEN it was going to happen a long time ago and forced my father to stop using it as a cop-out in our debates.
Whatever happens in the middle east, is whatever God wants. I will continue, however, to hold my belief in a non-interventionist foreign policy. Israel can take care of itself.
Question: I'm by no means a biblical scholar, and not very religious at all, but why would God save those who protect the Zionist regime, which has infiltrated every major institution in America already to peddle its influence off of?

America is most likely already collectively damned and has been for various reasons since the Revolution. When you see the decrepit state of society today, and the freedoms we are "given" (for state purposes, they are only privileges), it really should make you wonder if God actually would accept us and bless this nation.

Also, how does it make sense to expedite a world government through foreign entanglements for oil and other economic profits in order to DEFEND Israel? Out of all these conspiracy theories- the Zionists, Jesuits, Black Pope, and all the associated terms, it simply does not make sense why you would create a world government to protect Israel if you were trying to catalyze Armageddon...unless you were lying all along.
I wonder if this isn't how Isreal gets away with killing innocent Muslims and Christians. If you don't think they're using this to their advantage, think again. The Isreali Army routinely shoots unarmed children in the West Bank, are these God's chosen people? Maybe, if God is a hateful, bigotted xenophobe. Revelations was written by an imprisoned man as a revenge fantasy against the Romans and people still believe in it literally. When I was a child we were all going to die in 2000. So far I'm still here. I suggest, if you feel defending Isreal is so important, that you immediately go and join the army so that you can do your part and be rewarded by God personally.
Those who advocate war will always find a justification for it, they must in order to maintain such a position. If there is no real excuse they will find one, it is the nature of warmongers to find such and maintain excuses even beyond the reality of the situation.
The scariest (and also most ironic) part is the growing number of RPRs, libertarians, etc. who declare that if their plan for withdrawal isn't implemented at once, they will take up arms and storm D.C.

Let's face it. War only happens when one party is unwilling to compromise. And that's what so many purists on this site refuse to do intelligently.
Why is it that neo-con americans are so willing to let the sons of america commit crimes of war in Iraq and Afghanistan? Why do evil neo-con americans want to kill the muslim? Why america want steal oil in iraq? why do americans not know about islam being a religion of peace and love? why america bring thier haraam into islamic world? harram like xxx movie and alcohol that Prophet Muhammed (Peace be upon him) have forbiden in the hadith? When will the Evil Savage American Soldiers stop torturing the Muslim people? When will they stop broadcasting anti-muslim media in Islamic world? When will they condemn the evil zionist Jews for occupation of Palestine? When are the American soldiers going to get charged with crimes of war that they commit against Muslims? When are the American soldiers going to stop killing Muslim children in Iraq and Afghanistan? When will the western Imperialist media stop backing Israel and start reporting the truth about Islam?
