The McCaine Mutiny is a true story that is still unfolding. Hold on to your seats, because it is coming to a state convention near you. It's formal release will be in September at the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minnesota.
This documentary is similar to From Here to the Presidency. The Republican Party objected to the making of this documentary. Especially since it depicts a man primed to run for the Presidency of the US as someone that screams profanities in the Senate and makes odd faces during debates. They were especially upset about the use of the word 'mutiny' in the title.
The drama unfolds quickly, one convention after another keeps bringing the image of St. Paul into McCaine's brain. Finally McCaine's brain is so seared by what he perceives to be going on, he almost goes insane commanding his supporters to walk out of the Nevada State Convention.
To help prevent McCaine from going insane, the Republican Party changes rule after rule in as many state conventions as they can. They started an inquisition that stopped just short of waterboarding 300 of their own delegates in Missouri. They interrogated these delegates regarding their loyalty to McCaine. The delegates were told that if they did not support McCaine, they would lose their credentials.
Later on in an emotional trial scene, the angry Senator is charged with exceeding the limits imposed by the presidential public financing system. McCaine eventually loses his temper in the courtroom after being notified that additional charges were being brought against him to prevent him from running for President because he is not a natural born citizen.
And yet, in spite of all this, the media does an impressive coverup, they press on, doing everything in their power trying to keep McCaine as the presumptive candidate... The media writes articles that label anyone who opposes McCaine as a mutineer. And the more the media tried to stop the rEVOLution the more they kickstarted the McCaine mutiny...
And then there is St. Paul... The moment everyone is waiting for.
McCaine starts out speaking at the convention by saying:
...there are four ways of doing things in my campaign. The right way, the wrong way, the Navy way, and my way. And if you do things my way, we'll all get along...
McCaine goes on speaking and delivers a confessional. He pleads with all the delegates for their help and loyalty, but his request is greeted by silence:
...As I always say, running for President is a lonely job. It isn't easy to make decisions. Sometimes the candidate of a political party needs help. And by help, I mean constructive loyalty. What I'm trying to say is, uh, a political party is like a family. We all have our ideas of right and wrong but we have to pitch in for the good of the family. If there was only some way we could help each other...
Ok... I don't want to be a spoiler. You know what a mutiny is and possibly what a rEVOLution is... But, in this case you will have to watch the drama as it unfolds to see how the rest of this plays out.

Thank you for that information... Maybe I will submit it to the onion. Could you do me a favor and inform the owners of this website that they should remove satire as a category. It is currently one of the choices and since you said it doesn't belong here, well, who can disagree?
What you call satire is actually a lot of truth. Up to the convention in St. Paul everything in there is true (except for the trial... wishful thinking on my part).
Anyway, lighten up. A little humor can go a long way.
