Topic: Ron Paul
The Revolution Does Not End Come September Even if Ron Paul does not win in September the outcome may surprise.by LibertasPraesidium

The thing I like the most is that no matter how it is written about RP winning, someone somewhere is going to see it differently, but it isn't just a matter of delegates, or rules, or being shut out.
Here is how I see it one way or the other.
One way:
The campaign gains some strength but disappoints with far too many loses and there is no justification for Ron Paul's Speech at the Convention.
There are plans going on to work out that little thing, we have received more support for being discluded from a debate, then exclusion from the National Convention?
Complete disenfranchisement would have to include Dr. Paul himself.
Now how many of his "kook" supporters do people really think will be happy about being disenfranchised to the point of exclusion?
To sum it up, Ron Paul being blocked at the RNC, and His supporters being told to unite or leave, that is a big piece to take away. It will infuriate his supporters, not to the point of violence, mind you, but they know the rules of the convention and there will be a Ron Paul speech.
If the republican party is willing to push them out, they give RP more steam to continue on as a third party, forced out by the warmongering Republicrats.
Two months may seem like a short amount of time for paper pushing, but trust me if it comes down to every single supporter going door to door, do not count it out of the equation.
The Other:
Ron Paul gets the invite to the convention, gets some speaking time and, this will be a victory we can be happy with, even if he loses at this point we have accomplished something no one even dared think...
That ,We the People, can demand something be done, and it happens.
This, of course, will embolden the Ron Paul supporters even more, once they taste a bit of victory there will be no stopping them. Two months or not they will have a set of goals, and even some of the loftiest ones may even work.
I digress, but really, the grassroots, is not going anywhere, win or lose, there are going to be a great many people mad if RP loses, the democrats and republicans can't fool all the people all the time, and as more and more realize anything about the liberty movement, the revolution, or the fact that there is a candidate who has a clean voting record, it will just become worse for the other candidates.
It is really easy, accept some compromise, or be brought down because this cannot be stopped. Either enough people are going to stand up and voice it now, or in 8 years.
It will happen...
There is no more hoping, this revolution the people have started, will carry them into the future, until that dream is realized. Whether it has to be a slow change or not depends on the number of dedicated people we have, and that is growing at an exponential rate.
If you are so confident that so many people are duped into just voting one way or the other, take a look around, what do you value the most about your life, your family, or corporations and pharmaceutical companies; your own money for things YOU enjoy, or government taxes paying to give you mandatory shots for whatever they feel like because you wanted universal health care. (Oh, don't forget your ID ;-)
Wake up or don't, I just can't wait to see what happens.

If the Republican Party faces an Independent Party Ron Paul, then 6-10% of the vote will be lost for Republicans and John McCain will still win the election. Anyone who does not vote for Ron Paul is an idiot and needs to wake up!
McKrazy! You are so crazy, McCain could not win WITH Ron Pauls 8%, even if Obama had Pastor Wright as VP! McCain is STRUGGLING just to pick up 75% of the hard core Republicans! Regular Republicans, Indys and Dems are tired of this war, disgusted with this economy, outraged at this inflation, and through they are not aware of much, they will vote for change in Nov.
