Could Ron Paul's new book, The Revolution: A Manifesto be an instant bestseller? It's looking good so far. Today is its first day of official release, and already it's up to #8 on the Amazon.com bestseller list. [Note: it reached #1 a few hours after I first published this article] The list changes minute by minute, so it will likely be in a different position when you click on the Amazon link above.
When I reviewed the book a few days ago, I never expected to see this kind of interest in the book. Of course, I also didn't expect the huge groundswell of support Paul received over the past year. Silly me.
Today the Paul campaign sent out a press release in which Dr. Paul said, "Two days ago I did a book signing in New York at the Borders on Wall Street. All 530 copies had been sold before I even arrived....They had underestimated you again."
No kidding. The question now becomes how long the book will remain on the bestseller list. That will depend upon whether the book takes on a marketing life of its own, similar to the way the Paul campaign took on a life of its own via grassroots supporters. Potentially, this is a book that could end up being passed along from person to person to person. For a political book, it's a pretty easy read. Yet, it also touches all the significant topics of the day. If this book becomes America's flavor of the month in May, there's no telling what could happen in following months.
Of course, that's the goal of those who are promoting this latest "book bomb." Time will tell how well it will succeed. I wonder how quickly it can reach one million copies sold?

Excellent! We could not have planned better at 1245 CST the book was on the #5 spot. :-) 85 five STAR ratings and more coming every second. I have also contacted my local library to make a request they stock the book. As they have said again and again.
"The Revolution is NOT being Televised." Do not just buy the book Read it and pass the knowledge along.

Ron Paul's new book is just another tangible proof that The Revolution continues to pick up steam along with new supporters. My fiancee who has absolutly no interest in politics has already finnished the book and registered to vote all thanks to Ron Paul. He gives fresh breath into a dreary political world of people saying all the same things. Ron Paul and his supporters hold the future of this country in their hands, now lets continue to fight to win the country back.

Actually Lloyd, it appears that many more are buying Dr. Paul's book then just his devoted fans, the book will debut on the New York Times Best Seller List at #7.

Ron Paul has millions of fans. I doubt that a significant number of buyers were anti-Ron Paul.

Just because a book is a bestseller doesn't mean that we need to give the Author credit for being right. I was just pointing out how much money that Ron Paul is making off this book. Considering that the above titles were best sellers, I would hope that you see that I was pointing out the buying habits of the "sheeple".

I'm glad you realize that Ron Paul has millions of fans. What I don't understand is why you insist on disparaging a man who is fighting for liberty and has millions of fans for his effort. I would think you'd be applauding him rather than trying to tear him down....unless of course you like tyranny.

What is popular is not always right and what is right is not always popular.
