Vijay Boyapati, the Google ex-employee who is organizing the 1,000 volunteer Operation Live Free Or Die project and Trevor Lyman, the creator of the various money bomb sites including the upcoming Boston Tea Party have created a new fundraiser, Five For Freedom to help provide temporary housing for volunteers who are finding their way to New Hampshire to help the Ron Paul campaign.

Boyapati is currently on a plane to New Hampshire, where he will take up his adopted role of director of the volunteer project in earnest, so he isn't available for an interview. However, word of the new plan is already leaking out through various pro-Paul websites.

The goal is to get 20,000 volunteers to give just $5 each on Wednesday, December 5th, which would raise $100,000 to help pay for housing the many volunteers who are streaming to New Hampshire as you read this, whether they have to hitch a ride, don a backpack, ride a bus, or whatever it takes to get there. With nearly 300 volunteers already committed, and more undoubtedly wanting to commit who haven't made their plans yet, this could add up to a lot of housing.

Within hours of getting the website up, they have already received commitments from about 300 donors around the country. The sheer enthusiasm of people wanting to become involved on the ground is unprecedented in this new millenium. It is proving to be more than just grassroots operations. This is bordering on a grassroots uprising.
