Ron Paul, Friend of April Fools and Taxpayers April Fools Day has arrived again. Fool me once, shame on the federal government! But, Fool me every year on April 15th? Ron Paul is the Taxpayer's Best Friend, telling us to wake up and throw off the chains of the income tax!by creator

That magical day of the year has once more arrived, celebrated universally by countless thousands of lemmings queued up to "voluntarily comply" with the world's most obscure, deceptive, and fraudulently administered tax law, Title 26 of the US Code.
On what other day of the year do most Americans sincerely believe that it is illegal to sit at home and do nothing, but instead feel compelled to queue up at Post Offices and mail drops to "pay their taxes?"
Ron Paul, called "The Taxpayer's Best Friend," has as a presidential candidate enjoyed unprecedented success in educating the unwashed masses about the realities of economics in America. He has become more successful than most of his forerunners in the "Tax Honesty" movement in bringing to light just how severely Americans have been defrauded and led about by the nose when it comes to taxes.
It can truly be said that Dr. Paul is the ONLY candidate, despite all the lying and misrepresentation by other candidates (including "preacher" Mike Huckabee) who has promoted genuine honesty with respect to the subject of the income tax and who has championed real tax reform. If seriously proposing and showing the way to the elimination of the IRS isn't real tax reform, I don't know what is.
Now, Thank God and thanks to Ron Paul's presidential campaign, America is on the verge of reaching a "critical mass" of citizens who have become sufficiently awake, aware, and angry over what has been done to us by the banksters and their lackeys in all branches of the federal government.
Have you had enough? Are you finally "Mad as hell, and not going to take it any more?" If so, you may wish to investigate these educational resources with an open mind:
"Original Intent is an organization dedicated to restoring this nation to its republican roots. Our children, neighbors, family and community can no longer even identify our fundamental God-given "inalienable rights". If our inalienable rights cannot be identified, the liberty that stems from them is lost."
"What is known today as Free Enterprise Society was formed in 1979 by a small group of individuals who were very concerned about the simultaneous expansion of bureaucracy, erosion of individual rights, and plunder of private wealth by slick government debt and taxing schemes."
"Unlike groups that merely paid lip service to freedom, Free Enterprise Society put their money where their mouth was. With their homes, jobs, and reputations at stake, Free Enterprise Society members held official authority accountable under the United States Constitution, which is the Supreme Law of the Land in this country. Many of these challenges went into the courts. There were both wins and losses. The wins we celebrated; the losses were studied very carefully to prevent their repetition."
"Free Enterprise Society seminars and study courses, have determined lawful ways of avoiding intolerable debt and tax burdens. Have you ever stopped to wonder how much more enjoyable your life would be without these two burdens, debt and taxes?"
"The We The People Foundation is committed to educating Americans about their Fundamental Rights and the history, meaning and power of the Constitution, and the essential Principles of Liberty. Where our servant governments have abused the limited authorities that the People have delegated, the Foundation confronts and holds these governments accountable to the federal and state written Constitutions."
"We believe the federal government has grown too large, too intrusive, and too expensive. We believe in constitutional limits, small government, civil liberties, federalism, and low taxes."
"We want to end laws and programs that don't work, cause harm, and violate the Constitution. We want to restore the full force of the 9th and 10th amendments, which reserve most social functions to the people and the states."
"Our goal is to reduce the federal government to a tiny fraction of its current size, decentralize power, end deficits, federal borrowing, and monetary inflation, and eliminate most federal taxation and the IRS."
"Politicians are constantly making the claim that they just can't do with a penny less of your money, while they force you to make do with less and less all the time (and then they have the nerve to call you "greedy" if you object). They do this, not just with the obvious taxes that everyone knows about (e.g., income taxes, sales taxes, property taxes), but with a myriad of other taxes, fees, and other hidden costs of government you may not even be aware of."
"You have a RIGHT to know the TRUTH! You have a NEED to know the TRUTH! KNOW YOUR RIGHTS—KNOW YOUR DUTIES as they REALLY are, or you, your children and your grandchildren will continue to be victims of the largest scam in the history of mankind—the misrepresented and misapplied Federal Income Tax."
All of these fine organizations can help get the wool out of your eyes and direct your actions in the most effective way towards ending the century of tax tyranny that Americans have been subjected to - but it is up to YOU to read, learn, and take action!
Will you continue to be an "April Fool" or will you wake up and do the right thing for yourself, your family, and your country? No, it won't necessarily be an easy task - but consider the alternative! Many brave men and women have gone before you to pave the way, more are joining the forces day by day. Don't let their efforts have been in vain!

Believe it or not, I did spell check this article before pulling the "publish" trigger... and my spell checker failed me!
FYI, I typically open a "Thunderbird" email and cut and paste a copy of my article into it for spell check... I have never seen it "miss" like this before. I am personally also very sensitive to professionalism when it comes to basics as simple as spelling, especially in the modern world of computers.
And so, Lloyd, my sincere thanks for prodding me to go back over the article and fix it "manually." :)
