An open letter to Ron Paul Please do somethingby Robert Werden

I want to send out a plea to Congressman Ron Paul and the Republican Party to do something about the allegations of Senator John McCain's violation of FEC laws.
Congressman Paul, I would urge you to examine the allegations against Senator John McCain in which he is being accused of willfully violating FEC finance law.
There are reports that the Senator from Arizona has violated FEC laws by using the promise of entering the Federal Matching funds program to:
1. Acquire a loan from theMaryland-based Fidelity & Trust Bank to the tune of $4 million.
2. Bypass signature requirements to get on multiple State Ballots
There are also allegations that the Senator sent in a request to get out of the matching funds program after Februarys Super Tuesday primaries. Doing this while knowing that the FEC was in a forced recess and would not be able to vote on the Senators request. This action by Senator McCain would allow him if approved to spend over the the FEC matching fund spending cap.
The main point I would urge Congressman Paul and the Republican Party to investigate is, did Senator McCain commit fraud by securing a loan as well as placement on state primary ballots by willingly using the Matching funds program as collateral then willingly request to cancel the request for that collateral?
If Senator McCain is in violation of FEC laws, I would urge the Republican Party to express to Senator McCain that Republicans will not stand for such actions unbecoming of the Republican Party, and eject Senator McCain from the Party. I would also urge Congressman Paul to rally the Republican Party around his still very active bid for the Republican nomination and unbind the delegates nationwide to expedite the process at the Republican National convention to nominate Congressman Paul.
The Republican Party needs to quickly act and eliminate the scandal that they will lose the White House for the Republican Party. The Democrats have already filed complaints with the FEC and this is hurting the party and it chance to win the election in November.
Congressman Paul, please investigate and act swiftly.

Awesome article, now lets hope Ron Paul, his campaign, and the GOP will pay attention, and do something. This is a very important issue, and McCain should not be above the rules he himself legislated. He was placed on several State ballots without the necessary signatures because he had applied for these matching funds, that is just plain wrong, and those votes, and any delegates he received from those states should be revoked period. I would like to see his campaign address this mess, they are in deep trouble on this one, and if the GOP supports this, well I believe they are done.
I think you are right on the money, illuminating the fact that the Democrats are already gunning for McCain based on these potential violations. We've seen how the Democratic candidates have gone after each other with complete viciousness. Imagine the field day they will have with John McCain.
McCain has run on the basis that he is the most electable. However, a campaign finance scandal eliminates and reverses that implied strength.
However, it gets much worse. Many Republican county conventions yesterday voted and approved a platform which INCLUDED rescinding McCain's own finance reform laws which he has now apparently violated! We've all seen how the Democrats come after the Republicans with regards to campaign finance scandals. At every level.
McCain can now only cost the Republicans the election. Everyone needs to speak up (and quite loudly) and insist that McCain withdraw from the race.

You are right on the money with this article. BRAVO!!
The article below is another strike against McCain that the Democrats WILL use against McCain. It is almost like the Republican Party WANTS to LOSE against the Democrats by nominating a Liberal in a REpublican suit that has so much baggage that he needs a bus to carry it all.
JOHN MCCAIN'S ROLE IN THE USS FORRESTAL FIRE THAT LEFT 168 DEAD
WMR has been informed that crewmen aboard the Forrestal have provided additional information about the Forrestal incident. It is believed by many crewmen and those who have investigated the case that McCain deliberately 'wet-started' his A-4E to shake up the guy in the plane behind his A-4. 'Wet-starts', done either deliberately or accidentally, shoot a large flame from the tail of the aircraft.
In McCain's case, the 'wet-start' apparently 'cooked off' and launched the Zuni rocket from the rear F-4 that touched off the explosions and massive fire. The F-4 pilot was reportedly killed in the conflagration.
'Wet starting' was apparently a common practice among young 'hot-dog' pilots. McCain was quickly transferred to the USS Oriskany (the only Forrestal crewman to be immediately transferred). After the disaster, McCain was shot down over North Vietnam on October 26, 1967.
As WMR previously reported, at the time of the Forrestal disaster, McCain's father, Admiral John McCain, Jr., was Commander-in-Chief of US Naval Forces Europe (CINCUSNAVEUR) and was busy covering up the details of the deadly and pre-meditated June 8, 1967, Israeli attack on the NSA spy ship, the USS Liberty. The fact that both McCains were involved in two incidents just weeks apart that resulted in a total death count of 168 on the Forrestal and the Liberty, with an additional injury count of 234 on both ships (with a number of them later dying from their wounds) with an accompanying classified paper trail inside the Pentagon, may be all that was needed to hold a Sword of Damocles over the head of the 'family honor'-oriented McCain by the neocons.
WMR has also been informed by knowledgeable sources, including an ex-Navy A-4 pilot, the 'wet-start game' was a common occurrence. However, it is between 'very unlikely' and 'impossible' for the Forrestal 'wet start' to have been accidental. 'Wet starts' were later rendered impossible by automated engine controls."
By the way, we live in Pennsylvania. Anybody know how we can find out if McCain got all the signatures he needed in our state to be on the ballot?
By the way, even Republicans have a Petition similar to the one the Democrats have.
People to McCain: You Are Not Above The Law. Sign the Petition.
I think this letter will only reach the ears (eyes) of Dr. Paul and his supporters.
The Republican Party will not investigate McCain. They selected him, groomed him and will do everything they can to put out the fires.
If I am wrong, and it is proven that McCain DID violate the laws, I'm willing to bet that the Republicans would court Romney or anybody else over Dr. Paul. They have rejected him from the start.
I hope enough Paul supporters have now become active in the party.
The news media will pick your candidates for you and don't you forget it. You will be allowed to choose an insane white male fascist, a simple-minded brown male communist, or a moronic white female communist. (Sorry, we are not offering a brown female communist this time.) All three will serve the military, not you.
The white male fascist may self-destruct, but it doesn't matter because the difference between fascism and communism is unimportant. They both mean you lose.
Bottom line? TV is god. Americans are worshipers. My own hunch is that the simple-minded brown guy would take us straight to hell a little slower than the other two.
By his own admission, John McCain is breaking the law. His latest spending report has him $4 million over the limit he imposed on himself when he accepted public financing.
We're not about to let this stand, so on Tuesday we filed an FEC complaint against the McCain campaign (check out the video of delivery to the right). Now we're set for a second larger delivery of 30,000 signatures of Americans who won't stand by while John McCain breaks the law.
NOW UP TO 31,285 signatures!!! SIGN NOW AND FORWARD!
If McCain cannot come up with a reasonable explanation, he should go. I doubt that Dr. Paul would get the nod, but the Republicans will bring back Giulianni. Then watch the fun. On with the Revolution!!!!!
well article. I am amazed that this isn't receiving major news coverage! I have been screaming this very issue but no one I know even knew this had happened. I hope people start waking up.........
"2. Bypass signature requirements to get on multiple State Ballots" . . .
Does anyone know what states these might be? Specifically, is Washington State affected?
My friends, I can't believe some of you place so much faith in the Republican Party. The founding fathers warned about the bain and tyranny of entrenched political parties. The founders clearly instructed that the entrenched parties where not to be embraced. Have fun scurrying about trying to change one of the two party mouthpieces of the military industrial complex. And people think they can turn-around a corrupt party with the country facing financial collapse and the national securty state closing in on what rights we have left? It's laughable.
Even if you could turn the Party slightly, how many will be co-opted, bought off with positions of power and the promise of support to elective office? Please get real. It is a huge waste of time to try and turn this ship, the SS Republican Titanic around, after it has already hit the iceberg. It may sound romantic and your efforts heroic in hoping to re-arrange the deck chairs, but the ship, the Party, the Republican Party is a lost cause. We'll be meeting face to face in the FEMA camps they are building for us before you come close to gaining control of the Republican Party.
The real hope is in the rise of a 3rd party, with credible candidates, Libertarian or Constitution Party, to take the place of the corrupt and neo-con dominated Republican Party. Who needs convincing are people like Paul, Andrew Napolitano, Gary Johnson and others to lead the charge in educating enough of the people through electoral campaigns. Another good reason why Ron Paul should run 3rd Party and decide immediately to seek either the LP or CP nomination and quit this pussy-footing around with less than credible candidates like the thrice married Mr. Barr. Ron Paul is still the head of the spear and has built up a good base of name recognition and sits on 5-6 million dollars. A good start on a 3rd party run if enough of YOU and I can convince Paul to run and get with the program.
