Ron Paul offered a forceful rebuke in response to John McCain's attack aimed directly at the congressman in Wednesday night's Florida YouTube debate which stated that "you [isolationists like Ron Paul]" allowed Hitler to come to power with that kind of attitude."
During Wednesday night's debate sponsored by YouTube and the Florida Republican Party, John McCain attached an attack to the end of a response to an unrelated question, turning to Ron Paul and calling him an "isolationist," going further and stating that people who support non-interventionist policies were responsible for the rise of Adloph Hitler and Nazi Germany. Congressman Paul turned to McCain and reminded him that more active duty military personnel support him with campaign donations than any other presidential candidate in either party, winning applause for the statement.
It was wonderful to see Dr. Paul defend himself with what amount to uncomfortable facts for many, including, no doubt, John McCain and the rest of the neconservatives.

Ron Paul Is the only Real American running for the oval office. All the others left or right represent the CFR, Isreal and bigger Goverment which means less freedom for all and more money for big Corp. America, don't be fooled by the lies and bias of the big media, they have thier own agenda to follow and it doesn't care about Freedom , Liberty, or our way of life, except to make profits for the war profiteers who would destroy America for their Greed and blood lust. Get your kids ready to go off and die in some fu#ked up country over oil and Money and power. Don't let them give our country away to the NAU. This is treason no matter how or what or who says any different. Ron Paul to save this country before Rudy lets all of Mexico in to steal your Jobs or Mcdain Bomb, bomb bombs Iran and who ever the hell else this would lead into. War begets war Rememberr? Ron Paul 2008 or else we'll slide right into the jaws of hell and soon!
I watched the debate last night and was disgusted by how biased Anderson Cooper was against Ron Paul. Paul's ideas are very mainstream. The mass media just keeps trying to shove Huckabee, Romney and the other Republican neocons down the throat of the American people. The new stategy of corporate run media appears to be slandering Paul supporters as fringe dwellers and conspiracy theorists.
During WWII, it was the Republican Party that did NOT want the US to enter the war against Hitler. Robert Taft, the head of the GOP during that war led the charge against our fighting Hitler. In fact Prescott Bush (W's grandfather) was funneling money to Nazi Germany and had much of his fortune seized under the trading with the enemies act. For McCain or other Bushite Republicans to draw the Hitler card is laughable in the extreme. Hitler invaded other countries to expand his Germanic empire as did Bush for his empire of defense contractors. Many parallels can be drawn between Bush’s behavior and that of Hitler. But Ron Paul does NOT advocate invading other countries, stifling dissent, spying on Americans, or demonizing a Semitic ethnicity as a scapegoat. Trying to cast Paul as a Hitler or Nazi appeasers as the GOP was during WWII just doesn’t cut it.
