The Liar, The Racist, and the Warmonger Hillary lies about Bosnia, Obama is Racist, and a vote for McCain, is a vote for Bush. Who do we vote for? It doesn't matter who is elected as much as how active we are. We have to keep the fire of our passions lit in order to move earth.by P Hedt

The next few years in world history are going to be monumental, and our country has got a hand to play in shaping the outcome. That means that the next person we put in charge is going to be the person who guides and protects us in what may be the most trying times our nation and the world has ever faced. The three biggest challenges we face, as I see it, is our economy, World War Three, and global warming (regardless of the cause, its happening, lets prepare). Many have applied for the great reasonability and honor of leading us through these times, so far three have survived. We now have our choice of three poisons: The Liar, The Racist, or The Warmonger.
Hillary's recollection of her trip to Bosnia is a bold face lie and is also a complete insult to the intelligence of her supporters and the American people. It is one example of many of her deceitful ways. The biggest question about this that comes to my mind is: Why? Why would she lie about her trip to Bosnia? Does it somehow give her foreign affairs experience to be shot at on foreign soil? It seems as if the more violence a candidate experiences overseas, the more expertise in foreign affairs we assume the candidate has. It would make sense considering how some view Mc Cain. She thought that this lie would help chisel her image in a subtle and indefinable but effective way. On the surface the lie seems so inconsequential that even if someone caught it, the story would go nowhere. Such subtle, psychological, manipulative tricks are, once again, insulting. This is the way of the old politician and the way we as a nation need to get away from. What is Hillary's response to this discrepancy?
Hillary says that she may have recalled the events wrong. THAT wrong? That is a huge jump from reality. I don't know if I want another president that isn't grounded at least alittle in reality. What will she misrecall next? What happens when she misrecalls where Al Qaeda is and we end up invading the wrong country? We don’t need that again. I don’t think she would ever do that but the point is, we cannot trust what she has to say. When im interviewing someone for a job, if I catch that person in a lie I am not hiring that person. Obama has earned my respect in this fashion: when the pressure was on, he did not lie, he took it head on. If you have not heard his speech I recommend you listen, its much more enlightening than the sound byte clips you see and hear on the news. Unlike Hillary who lied bold faced and showed great disrespect for us. Obama showed a great deal of respect for us when he gave this speech.
My issue with Obama is not so much that he went to this church and listened to this rhetoric for twenty years but the fact that he exposed his kids to it. His kids are being indoctrinated into the hate speak. I’m sick and tired of the hate white male and hate America crap that has been spun out by some groups of people. Rev. Wright perpetuates this hate and Obama not only supports him but allows him to influence his kids. There is a serious double standard in our society and it’s because of a segment of people that Larry Elder would call ‘Victicrats’ and also the people who enable these Victicrats. I understand that in the beginning, black people had to bang their heads against the white establishment in order to find equality, but at some point it becomes counter productive. At some point it no longer creates equality as much as it breeds hate. Now is that time. Do you want proof? OK, let’s take Obama for example: he could have easily been elected to become the leader of the free world, he had it in the bag, but because of the racist head banging he could possibly lose.
Some people think that it unfair to bring up Obama’s pastor and not the pastors that endorsed McCain. There is a BIG difference between getting a thumbs up from someone and bowing your head to someone for twenty years. Even with that, the argument here is basically: The other guy did it to so it’s OK for my guy to do it. If McCain went to a pastor that was constantly spewing out racist anti-American statements for twenty years, he should have his feet held over the fire as well. I will say this though; a vote for McCain is a vote for Bush.
McCain is very tunnel visioned which is the same problem Bush had. He has also shown that he will say anything to further HIS agenda, just like Bush. Was his slip up in Amman a minor slip or a Freudian slip? He’s got Al Qaeda on the mind making the question not if or when but who are we going to invade next?
The war was unconstitutional, we can not afford it and it sure didn’t make us safer. We spent how much blood and money on attacking a country, that didn’t even have an Al Qaeda presence in it, without even spending a dime on defense? Wait, allow me to correct myself, we created the department of homeland security. So, while almost all our troops are overseas, we have a government department designed to spy on our own people. Meanwhile, our boarders are STILL unsecured. How big is a terror threat to our country if we are so willing to leave our boarders so open and ship our national guard overseas? We put A LOT into offence and nothing into defense. I believe that our invasion of Iraq strained our economy ‘till it broke, and will be the catalyst for WWIII. Do you want to keep spreading peace through war while forcing others to accept our form of democracy? Then vote for McCain. Do you want to go another eight years without knowing what the heck our government is doing? Then vote for McCain. I don’t think sacrificing our freedom for security is what our founders had in mind.
Where did all the real conservatives go? The ‘Regan Conservatives’ are all scared and hiding. They are hiding behind the government they have been trying to shrink all these years. So what do they do? They work hard to make their shield bigger. Now our government no longer has two wings and down we go. The biggest difference between the Republican Party and the Democratic Party is that one believes that in order to support the troops you have to agree with the war, and the other believes that supporting the troops does not necessarily mean that you agree with the war. I am a veteran. I don’t agree with the war but I certainly support my brothers and sisters. In the words of one of my heroes "Violence begets violence". Another thing is that McCain has changed his positions so often it’s impossible to tell which color this chameleon will become next.
The economy is failing (or we have the re-distribution of wealth), the globe is warming and lakes are drying up, and the world is set up for a Third World War. Which candidate will we elect to take on these challenges? Seems hopeless, with the choices we have but there is one weapon we have at our disposal.
A number of years ago I was a night security guard, at a park. I had no supervision, and something only ever happened once in a blue moon. The temptation to slack is great, and sometimes I did. If someone was keeping tabs on me, at least alittle, I would have done my job ALOT better. The government is the same way. It does matter who we elect, but we need to hold the person we elect accountable and keep a close eye on everyone we elect. They work for us, and they need to know it. Absolute power corrupts and if we don’t monitor them we give them absolute power over our everyday lives. The will of the people is the strongest force known to man. If we all complain about the airbus contract, our government will have to give the contract to an American company. If we all yell at congress for voting to allow pork barrel spending and ear marks then they will stop. If they don’t we the people not only have the right but the obligation to fire them. Sound too simple? To naïve? I think if you ask anyone who got fired up because of this election, they would say: Change? Yes we can! Staying coordinated is what we have to do. When we see something wrong we call foul, like Ron Paul Conservatives did with Fox news. E-mail the editors of news places, call in to talk shows, write articles, boycott, let it be heard that we will not stand for it anymore! The sleeping giant awakes! Lets take back our country!

When I think about the choices, I have to say even if Obama is a raciest like his pastor clearly is. His speech which I recorded, showed some intelligence, some thing we are not used to having in the White house, and racism is some thing we can control easier then a new George Bush( this time with war experience), or another Clinton liar.
I as a women think it would be great to have a women as president some day. But I'd want a women my daughter could be proud of. I don't want my daughter looking up to a women who tolerated what her husband did just to get political office. Plus even when she has tried to work on health care she dropped the ball and waisted tax payers dollars on something that never happened, now we are supposed to trust her with the whole ball. Our history books need someone to be proud of, our children need some one to look up to, and yes our black children need some one to look up to more then ever.
I think your right, Marie, the racist would be the easiest evil to regulate.
If I were in on the decision, I would probably hold my nose and pull the lever for Obama. In fact, Ill probably vote for whoever the democratic nominee is.
My three most important issues are; the war (we have no business being over there), Illegal Immigration (Send 'em all home and keep 'em there), and the economy (Stop borrowing from China to buy their goods, and stop printing so much money). At least ill get one out of the three with Barrack or Hillary in office.
