Topic: Government's Responsibilities
So?

Cheney's disregard for the public has reached an all time low!

On March 19, 2008 Veep Cheney gave an interview with Martha Raddatz of ABC in which he indicated last year's surge was a "major success." The Dick stated, "On the security front, I think there's a general consensus that we've made major progress, that the surge has worked. That's been a major success."

Martha then asked The Dick about recent polls showing that two-thirds of Americans say the fight in Iraq is not worth it. The Dick replied, "So?"

Stunned, Martha Raddatz replied, "You don't care what the American people think?" The Dick answered back, "You can't be blown off course by polls." He tried to smooth that asinine comment over by adding, "This president is very courageous and determined to go the course. There has been a huge fundamental change and transformation for the better. That's a huge accomplishment."

I've got another question for The Dick. "Just who in the hell do you think you work for?" Wait, before you say something that is really going to piss me off, let me answer for you. You work for me! And every other American! All of us insignificant peons whom you can't be bothered to be "blown off course" by.

It is high time you high and mighty in office come to realize that EVERY ONE OF YOU who are elected to office, work for us, the voters, who put you there on our behalf. Although you may draw a paycheck that has the US Government as the payer, remember this quote by former US Attorney William Weld, "There is no such thing as government money - only taxpayer money."

That's right. We are your employer. It is to us you owe your loyalty and servitude. So the next time you see a poll taken by your employers saying that two-thirds of us do not agree with what you are doing, you had better wipe that nasty little Darth Vader smirk off your face and pay attention!

In the event The Dick does not agree with what I am saying, I have only one thing to say to him. "So?"

Impeachment and then to answer for war crimes might change his attitude.

That comment by Cheney sums up perfectly this entire administration.  We know better than anyone else.  We have a plan and we will not change the plan under any circumstances even when the situation completely changes and logic say we should.  We are not interested in what you think only that you continue sending us (under threat of force) your hard earned tax dollars so we can anger the entire mideast (minus israel) against us.

How about saying

"YOUR FIRED!"

This administration has a serious disregard for the constitution as well as the people. I thought the Clinton administration was bad, but Bush is even worse.

God how I wish we could elect Ron Paul.
