US House of Representatives Holds Secret FISA Session The US House of Representatives held a rare Secret Session (the 5th since 1825) on Thursday night, in preparation for a vote on the new FISA bill.by Carter Braxton

For only the 5th time since 1825, the US House of Representatives held a Secret Session in order to discuss and receive intelligence regarding the new FISA bill.
Those members of the House of Representatives who agreed to participate in the session were forced to take an oath to intelligence officials that they would never divulge any information.
Basically what this means is that the American people are being excluded from the debate about how much of our Constitutional liberties need to be taken away in the name of "National Security".
The information presented by these intelligence officials in support of their request for more sweeping powers must NOT be that convincing. Why else would they need to hide it from the public eye?
But don't worry. Most of America doesn't even know it missed the meeting. And the boots will continue marching for a few more days it seems.
