WHY BRITAIN NEEDS AN OBAMA

Hope, perhaps more than anything else, is needed in these modern times.

A couple of Sundays ago, on BBC Parliament's coverage of U.S. politics, I watched a speech by Barack Obama.

It struck me that there's no one in British politics (at least in terms of party leadership) that can speak with such style, passion and vision.

After watching the coverage I felt inspired, even as someone who lives an ocean away.

I believe Obama, more than either Clinton or the Republican candidate, has the ability to truly move people, via the art of oratory-not only in America but also right around world.

Truly great oratory can change things and if there was ever a time when the globe's population needs inspiring it is now.

Because though, in many ways, we have more opportunities than ever before, we also have more uncertainty-in so many differet ways, than any previous generation.

It takes more than fine words, of course, it takes acion.

But a leader who can inspire by their words can take a people with them-to the promised land.

A leader who can inspire through words alone, is a very dangerous thing.

Truth without love, turns people away. Love without truth turns people into slaves.

Might I point out the last person who could sway entire crowds with nothing more than the thrill of his voice was Adolf Hitler?

Yeah, I just broke Godwin's Law. But I did it for a reason -- Obama even scares the shit out of hardened Statists because we don't know what he stands for. His platform is smoke, we can't figure out who's really backing him , and there's no telling who has bought and paid for him.

(And no, it's not a grassroots intenet campaign. There aren't enough Obamatards for that. Someone is cooking the books).

Obama is lying to everyone just any other politician. Why....because he criticized NAFTA and then one of his very own economic consultants went to Canada to tell political officials to ignore his criticisms.

When someone is as vague and rhetorical as Obama....expect nothing more than vagueries. There's no substance. But that is okay because he's trying to get as many votes as possible!

Why would you want to hire a communist to fix the problems created by british communists?

[link edited for length]

We all, worldwide, need to treat our communists, by whatever cute names they call themselves, as the cancer they are.
