Before this election season started, I lived my life just trying to stay in peace and harmony with the Universe and celebrate the good things in life.
But thanks to George Bush, the wanna-be dictator, he changed not only my life but everybody in the worlds life too. I wouldn't go as far as to say he did it on purpose, but I know for damn sure he didn't try to avoid it either. In Bush's eyes what happened on September 11th 2001 was a God send. It put his strategy right into place as far as Washington DC controlling the world. He couldn't have planned it better himself.
Until then I considered myself a Democrat as a way to alienate myself from the Bush Administration. That was until the Democrats caved in and went soft after the 2006 election, when they promised that they would get the country out of Iraq and did nothing. So I decided to get involved one more time into the political process. What I was looking for was a candidate that would promote World Peace or at least One that had the courage and integrity to at least begin the process of world peace by getting us out of Iraq.
I first looked at Kucinich as he was the only democrat that was running for president and was saying that we needed to get out of Iraq... Now. But seriously , he was unelectable because he didn't come across as a strong leader.
Then I found Ron Paul or he found me, one or the other. Not only was he for getting out of Iraq, he was for getting us out of everywhere else too. He spoke of pulling countries together peacefully and talking out our differences and making the world work as one together in harmony, as many of the "great leaders" have in the past. May their souls rest in peace. As far as I was concerned, he was the only one worth voting for, and he is the only one I will to this day, vote for. I'm going to give my vote to World Peace and thats all there is to it.
I really don't care about the business end of running our government. I don't see any reason to vote for things that don't effect my life personally and I could care less about issues I like abortion that I used to support just to keep thousands of children from having to be brought up by people that didn't want to be parents. I don't see myself ever needing to get one either being a I'm male. So why should I make that an issue for me to vote on.
However there are things that I personally would like to be different in America and the world.
My whole life I have worked like most people to buy what I needed in order to stay alive and it has worked out just fine. Why do I now need to worry about who prints that money? I do on the other hand believe that if our government was to spend as much on our own country as they do on war and bribing other countries with "relief" that this would be the wealthiest country in the world.
As far as I can see, politicians are mostly crooks and are going to do whatever it takes to help the people and corporations with the most money, to make more money before they help anyone else.
Bribing government officials is supposed to be illegal in this country, but politicians pass laws year after year to make it O K for their own personal gain. What a crock! To me most politicians aren't worth the stamp I use to send in my absentee ballot.
My biggest gripe of all, is why the hell do they create high tech people killing machines that cost billions of dollars each to protect our country from outside threats.. and then sell them to our potential enemies? I think they do it so that they can continue ream the public of more hard earned money to pay for defense contracts to build better killing machines. What ever the reason is, it's frigging stupid.
Don't get me started, I won't be able to stop.
Those are the kind of things though that I think this country should be working on trying to change.
In the mean time, I am going to do whatever I can to help my country by continuing to write my articles here in little-town-nowhere, trying to keep the political crooks from being elected President and to help preserve the Constitution. But most of all... I will also do whatever I can to help promote World Peace.
One way to do that, that works for me, is to stay true to my personal beliefs and follow a life path that stays in harmony with the Universe. I know when I'm on that path because it feels good in my heart.
I Believe, that all the people on the earth are connected as one within the Universe (God) and that we posses many great powers as a whole. One of those powers is the power of attraction as it is called today. The principle of the power of attraction is that if you concentrate on want you want through inner prayer, it goes out to the everyone else in the world through a universal consciousness. If enough people pray and ask the Universe for help with same thing at one time, it can influence everybody else in the world and make it happen.
Therefore, if we think like "they" want us to about war, we feed war and war happens. If we concentrate on creating peace we feed peace and peace happens.
I Choose, ( thank God I still have the right to do that) to spend the rest of my life promoting peace and helping other people to feel peace by treating them with love and respect. I very much believe in the "Golden Rule" and being that in life that I want from life.
Once a year I attend Earthdance. It's a once a year nondenominational synchronized Global Prayer for World Peace, that is celebrated with music and a community sharing of love. It takes place around the world at exactly the same time of day, on a weekend in September of every year. It has advanced to involving 60 different countries and 300 individual locations and is one of the most powerful things that I've experienced in my life.
I encourage all peace loving people to attend our next Prayer for Peace, at the nearest location to your home, or even travel to another location and make a vacation out of it as many people do to attend the hub event that I participate in.
I guarantee it to be a life changing experience, not only for you and your family, but for the World as a whole.
