Three Ron Paul videos

On March 6th, Ron Paul simultaneously released three videos at the same time. Through the wonders of technology, he was able to post all three videos in the same link. If you click on that link, you will see the version of the video that was meant for you.

A lot of people clicked on the link and saw the "Ron Paul is quitting" video. I know they did, because I read all about it on the various blogs. They even quote Paul from the video, not saying he quits, but that presidential success is unlikely, which if you are not a supporter is code for, I am quitting the race. I didn't see this version of the video, so I can only go by what others who did see it say.

Of course there were the ever faithful Ron Paul supporters who saw the version of the video that talked about a secret strategy of winning called "let everyone think I quit so the other side will quit trying". In this version of the video Dr. Paul apparently talks about how the MSM has it all wrong and that McCain is not very likely to even be a Republican by the time the convention rolls around and the Republican party will have to scramble to find a nominee. And all those Ron Paul supporters who worked the process to become national delegates will be there to see their guy to victory. I didn't see this version either, though I wished I had, because that would have been cool, and made me feel a lot better about how things were going.

The version I saw was Dr. Paul stating his chances at being President as not very likely, but that he would continue on, and pledge to visit any area where there might be an audience for the message of freedom. He continued on the same theme I heard from him when I saw him speak before Super Tuesday. This movement is not about Ron Paul, it is about freedom. And those of us who have awakened to this message have an obligation to continue to work and spread the message.

I got the chance to hear a US Senator speak the other night, and his closing remarks were about the unfunded obligations which he said totaled $66 trillion, and that the leaders in Washington had no plans to stop what was happening.

If this Senator was speaking the truth, and our leaders are intent on bankrupting the country, it will happen no matter what we do. If our recent history shows, every tragedy is soon followed by more loss of freedoms. This is the battle that must be fought and won! We must do everything in our power to educate people about what their freedoms are, while they still have them. People will fight harder to keep something when they understand what it is they could lose.

A big part of the freedom message is self reliance. Dr. Paul has put the ball back into our court, and where this goes next is completely up to us. While we are out spreading the message of freedom and liberty lets remember what our goal is. Teach! Calling people sheep or NWO shills will not win people over to the cause of liberty. The passion of some of Dr. Paul's supporters have actually turned people away from the message. If you are a believer in Liberty, then you believe that you are responsible for you, please act accordingly.

Well put, and thank you for the advice NOT to refer to the unawakened as sheep. Their sin may be laziness, but it may also be trust in a system they thought worked for them. In this sense, no one is to blame for not watching the back story.

I do watch the back story. And I think it is a simple story about some people who had a lot of money which was aquired through many negative associations (slavery, the drug trade, monetary strong-arming, war)... and these people became powerful and wealthier still by controlling everything and everyone they owned.

They write the laws, set the regulations, and keep the general public at a distance through layers of beaurocracy in hopes you will just give up and go away. They use lying and intimidation. They run black-ops programs off the books that we know little or nothing about, but it can be turned against us. They take our earnings and use it to start conflicts that benefit their interests. The use national security and terrorism as a whip to keep us parroting their policies as truth.

They may not be the New Worl Order, but they include self-interested parties whose primary motive is control and profit. Human rights, fair trade, environmental respect - all are mangled in the process. Now they even use Global Warming as an additional whip against the third world, arguing that industrialization will only increase the problem, keeping poor countries poor while stealing their resources out from under them in so called fair trade.

What we are dealing with is an owner-class who makes the rules and has the power to threaten, incarcerate, kill or torture anyone that gets in their way. It's power through intimidation and the constant promise of false hope (Change for America - Change you can believe in.) Is their any change that we can NOT believe in? I appreciate that Ron Paul offered HOPE for America, not just change. Change is evolution. It happens in response to something. Hope is the effort that must be maintained when you KNOW that the game is a fraud. Hope embodies the desire for equity, fairness and freedom to live without the shackles of government.

I would be very interested to hear what you suggest we do at this point. There seems to be a common sense of wandering aimlessly right now. As though we have been following an apparition - and it has vanished in front of us. Is hope an apparition? How do we promote the freedom message of Ron Paul without self-destructiong into numerous factions? How do we teach people - what is the process? How long will this take compared to the situation we are in?

I think you may be right about the bankrupting of the country as a goal. The globalists are not Americans per se. They own interests everywhere, own property all over the globe, they don't follow the law as it is, so if the economy crashes as it did prior to the Great Depression; the owners will simply cash in - buying up everything for nothing and leaving the rest of us to figure it out. At this point I think there may very well be a REAL Revolution - and not the good kind.

It is a fact that FEMA has somewhere around 1,300 detention centers - mostly old Amtrack stations and ex-military bases which are claimed to be non-existent and are also reported as potential detention centers for illegal immigrants. It is also known that two years ago the ATF raided a thousand or so gun dealers all at once and confiscated records on all gun owners. This never made the mainstream news. I think the elite masters KNOW we are about to crash and the reason why habeaus corpus has been eliminated is so there is no legal right left to appeal. When the play-dough hits the fan, we will have no guns, no rights and a nice barbed-wire playground where we can all get together and make baskets.

@ Alexander Jefferson

You reaffirm my faith in the ability of individuals to think critically. Good job.

@ nuclear G

I think the FEMA detention camps are for when we can't get or can't afford the oil anymore. That is gonna happen real, real soon. When that happens they are going to have to manage the rioting. So it's off to camp we go.

Hear hear!

Expanding upon your three videos metaphor, I'd say that the people seeing your first mentioned video are those that have taken the red pill within the timespan of the Ron Paul campaign-- they fear their new awareness but don't have any skills to cope with it.

The people seeing your second video are the ones who are past the disorienting effects of swallowing the red pill, but who nevertheless are naive about the election process and the designed-in inertia of party politics. Finally, there are those of us who believe, rightly or wrongly, that the only way to move forward in this revolution is to change the mental paradigm one citizen at a time until we truly achieve a revolutionary mass of individuals who consciously choose responsible self-determination and oppose federated collectivism and hyphenated-americanism.

If everyone who is seeing videos 2 & 3 makes it their personal mission, we can have that critical mass by the time the next presidential cycle rolls around as I sincerely believe the U.S. might by then be in the midst undeniably desperate circumstances. If those watching video 1 can be coaxed into relenquishing their blue pills, serious inroads into federal and state legislatures could even be had by 2010.

If we lose the first two groups-- and Ron Paul did not help us in the short term with his mealy-mouthed (or, if you prefer, overly nuanced) pronouncement-- we risk ending up where we were before all of this began last year-- a bunch of independent private actors with nary a hope for any representation within an increasingly unstable, increasingly totalitarian system.
