Without Ron Paul, Just More Bush* On The Economy

George Bush has just made another feeble and futile attempt to jump-start the plummeting economy. Ron Paul spoke about this nonsense only last night.

There's an old and oft-repeated saying attributed to W. C. Fields: "If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullsh*."W. C. Fields - courtesy Wikipedia

George W. Bush has never been very good in the brilliance department, and so once again he has tried to baffle the American public with another strong dose of BS. In his speech at the White House a short while ago today [transcript here -- video here], Mr. Bush pretended to empathize with working Americans.

"Loosing a job is painful" he said. Really? How would you know that, Mr. Bush? Or are you thinking about next year?George Bush Making Excuses for the Economy

"We anticipated this and took decisive action to bolster the economy, by passing a growth package that will put money into the hands of American workers and businesses."

Here's a question for you: Why not just leave the money in the hands of its owners to begin with, and cut out the middle man?

"I signed this growth package into law just three weeks ago, and its provisions are just starting to kick in."

"Kick in?" Don't you mean "Kick in the teeth?" - If your "stimulus package" is doing so well, why are you on TV doing damage control today?

"These rebates will begin reaching American families in May. And when the money reaches the American people, we expect they will use it to boost consumer spending."

Alas, too little, too late, and nothing but smoke-and-mirrors. Blah, blah, blah, economy, blah, blah, blah.

"And in the long run, we can have confidence that so long as we pursue pro-growth, low-tax policies that put faith in the American people, our economy will prosper."

George Bush has confidence all right - "con-man" confidence. He has faith in the American people too - faith that they will put another big-government imperialist president in office and continue down the merry road to the economic destruction of America.

Fortunately, more and more Americans are waking up to the truth about the economy, painful as it may be. They are beginning to listen to the message of Liberty and Prosperity presented by Dr. Ron Paul. It is becoming increasingly clear to them just what a charade is being carried out by Bush and company, including the media-fostered "major" presidential candidates, Obama, Clinton, and McCain.

Ron Paul just yesterday said this about the economy:

"An issue that I've been talking about for thirty years is now a key issue of the evening news. That is the dollar crisis and its economic ramifications. The money issue gives our movement credibility and a chance to offer sound solutions. At the rate our economy is slipping, we will likely see the disintegration of the American empire, and that will be no small event. Foreign policy will continue to be of crucial importance to all Americans as its burden on the economy will get worse."

Mr. Bush, where is your credibility? Do you have any sound solutions? Of course not, you and your likely successors fully intend to continue your devastating interventionist foreign policy of empire-building until you bring us all to absolute economic ruin.

Not only does the emperor have no clothes, Bush and his policies are as naked as a jaybird, with nary even a biblical fig leaf to mitigate their utter exposure. If you watched the video, you have just seen Bush in his metaphorical birthday suit, fiddling, like Nero of old, with YOUR life while Rome burns to the ground.

It's time to wake up, America! Sitting back on the couch in front of the tube isn't going to cut it anymore! Get up, get out, join the Ron Paul revolution, and take back your country!

creator........W.C. Fields apparently had a "Bush premonition" when he coined that phrase, except it's true for all other Admistrations who have been culpable in perpetuating these premeditaed scams on the American people.

However, it's our fault. One other little saybing that we should take to heart...."fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me".

The Men Behind the Curtain, and their agents, i.e.-all politicians who conspire to trash the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, do not think we're very smart. Of course, they're right as it applies to the average, uninformed American.

So far, we've given them no reason to believe otherwise.

For those of us who have followed the good Doctor's career for so long, this is starting to look like a "told you so" moment.  Nero may fiddle while America burns, as will the hundreds of "Neros" now enjoying a nice long Easter holiday while the rest of us work our little hinies off.  Not to worry.  When it's all over with and the smoke clears, those of us who truly believe in freedom and liberty will still be there to pick up the ashes and make damn sure that this can never happen again.  Statism is dying, long live freedom and liberty for all!
