John McCain's Rise to Power (updated)

Shortly after John McCain married Cindy, they moved to Arizona. With Cindy's help, that move was the beginning of John McCain's rise to power, which ultimately set-up his present run for The White House.

Five years before John and Cindy were married and moved to Arizona a terrible crime occurred there. . .

It was 1976 when an ambitious reporter named Don Bolles who was writing articles about organized crime figures in Arizona (including a man by the name of Jim Hensley) he was brutally murdered with a car bomb.

What does this have to do with John McCain? Well it just so happens that that guy Jim Hensley that Don Bolles was writing about was McCain's wife, Cindy Hensley's father.

While it seems to be common knowledge that John McCain's father-in-law is one of the largest Anheuser-Busch distributors in America, what the defiantly-silent-media has refused to report about is where the Hensley's acquired their fortune or that it financed the McCain's rise to power.

Here is the story they don't want to tell you.

The unreported Hensley fortune is an offshoot of the bootlegging and rackets empire of Sam Bronfman of the Bronfman family in Canada and partner to Meyer Lansky, chairman of the board for the international crime syndicate.( His son Edgar Bronfman is a Bush supporter.)

Jim Hensley got his start as a top henchman for Kemper Marley who died in 1984. Marley was behind the scenes political boss of Arizona. Marley was also a protege of Lansky's lieutenant, gambler Gus Greenbaum.

In 1941 Greenbaum started a wire service for bookmakers which he turned over to Marley five years later to help run the Lanskey ran Flamingo Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. In 47 he ordered a hit on Bugsy Siegel for skimming profits. The following year Greenbaum and his wife were found with their throats cut. The murders were followed by a gangland war in Phoenix, yet Marley survived. He went on to build up a liquor distribution monopoly in Arizona financed by the Bronfman family.

In 1948, fifty-two of Marley's employees (including Jim Hensley) went to jail on federal liquor violations, but not Marley himself.

It is said that Jim Hensley took the fall for Marley who in turn paid Hensley back by setting him up in his beer business. That business which is valued today at an estimated to be worth $200 million financed McCain's career, but without Marley's political ties and support John McCain would not of been elected to squat..

While John McCain himself should not be held personally responsible for the sins of his father-in-law, he owes his political and financial fortunes to the help he got from the biggest names in organized crime

From World Net Daily 2 / 6 / 08 :

[Arizona crime connections again surfaced in the 1980s when McCain was implicated as one of the five U.S. senators named in the "Keating Five" scandal.

Charles Keating Jr. and his associates paid McCain some $112,000 in political campaign contributions between 1982 and 1987, while Keating was organizing a massive real estate fraud in the then FDIC federally insured Lincoln Savings and Loan Association.

In April 1986, McCain's wife and father-in-law also invested $359,000 in a Keating shopping center, before the savings and loan scandal broke.

Keating was sent to prison under civil racketeering and fraud charges for the $1.1 billion loss the investment scheme cost the public, although McCain and the other U.S. senators involved managed to avoid charges in the Senate, with McCain receiving only an Ethics Committee rebuke for exercising "poor judgment."

Even today, McCain's 2008 presidential campaign staff includes several prominent lobbyists, despite the senator's claim to be a campaign reform crusader whose goal is to take money out of politics.]

I had know idea how many skeletons were in John McCains closet until I started researching his past.

However I didn't feel morally right to report on his POW experiences, as that was something that was between him and God, and I can't even imagine the horror he went through.

But the man is corrupt and he should not be holding any office, let alone be President. No wonder George Bush likes him so much.

Doesn't our government do back-ground checks on politicians running for office like they do for civilians?

If so, why doesn't having Organized Crime connections disquallify them?

Usually after writing an article.... if you dig deep enough into Google News you can find your article. That mysteriously does not seem to be the case on this article.

I'm not finding much to support your accusations about Jim Hensley, but even if true it could be worse. McCain could have had his political career started by unrepentant domestic terrorist William Ayers with money from fed criminal Tony Rezko after working for racist hate monger Rev Wright.  And BTW, the other "US Senators" you so carefully avoid mentioning in the Keating 5 scandal were 4 Democrats. The Dem lawyer Bill Bennett, lead investigator for the Ethics Committee even stated McCain was not guilty of anything and was stuck in the scandal by Dems who didn't want it to be only about their people. That's why McCain was exonerated of wrongdoing. One of the 4 worked as the lead in vetting Biden for Obama (John Glenn). Why didn't you mention that!?
