Can the Ron Paul Revolution Thwart Kruschev's Prophecy?

The communist tyrant, Nikita Kruschev, made a chilling prophecy about America to Ezra Taft Benson, former member of Eisenhower's cabinet. Has the prophecy been fulfilled? Can it be stopped?

The only good way to govern our country is by following the guidelines set by our founding fathers. They revolted against mother England for far less tyranny than Americans live under today. Once upon a time, it was just the commies, marxists, and facists from other countries that posed a threat to our nation. Then these factions infiltrated our own country and took over the Democratic party. And since the rise of George W. Bush, the socialist agenda of the Democrats has infected and overtaken the Republican party. There are few true conservatives and constitutionalists left in American politics.

I remember reading a story told by Ezra T. Benson, who served as the Secretary of Agriculture during the Eisenhower administration. The leader of the Soviet Union, Nikita Kruschev (who followed Stalin) was going to visit the U.S. and Benson was ordered by Eisenhower to give Kruschev a tour of some of our agricultural facilities. With great reluctance, Benson agreed to do as requested by the President.

During the tour Kruschev remarked to Secretary Benson that communism would eventually consume democracy. Benson replied that Americans would never accept such a drastic change in their form of government as communism. Kruschev then told Benson that it was already beginning to happen.

He said that Americans were being fed one small bite of communism at a time, and that over the course of several years, Americans will have accepted so many communistic ideals, including a massive and uncontrollable federal government, that one day we would wake up to discover that we are a democracy only in name - that our policies and methods of government will be communist in nature. Kruschev concluded that it will be the slow injection of socialist/communist principles into America - not nuclear missiles - that would destroy our nation.

I look around at what happened to my country during the Clinton years, and I am saddened. I look at the accelerated rate of out of control government growth since Bush took office, and I am sickened.

Let me ask you something. When you woke up this morning, did you wake up in the republic of our founding fathers, a socialist-democracy that has lost its way, or under a fascist regime hell-bent on spreading its imperialist control over other nations by brute force? Just what is the United States of America? Are we Reagan's "shining city set on a hill" or are we the fulfillment of Kruschev's prophecy?

Now let me ask you a more important question. Are you going to sit by and do nothing while our freedoms are decimated by a brazen and corrupt nexus of evil, or are you going to demand liberty through any means necessary?

Consider the words of Dr. Ron Paul:

"But whether the resistance against government tyrants is non-violent or physically violent, the effort to overthrow state oppression qualifies as true patriotism."

I tell you what...I listened to a speech that Obama made on Tuesday night in Texas and he reference the support of all the "Weary Travelers" abroad...blah, blah, blah...."

I was struck by the use of that term as I'm sure Obama does not speak extemporaneously. It was a purposeful and well chosen phrase. "Fellow Travelers" is a well know euphemism for communist sympathizers. I don't believe the similarity of terms is coincidental. I really don't.

Actually, he was close... the US was already a FASCIST (aka "Corporatist") state under FDR, and while there was a reversal in the 50's & 60's the trend reverted back again under the two* GHW Bush administrations... and has continued its path under the Bush-Clinton duodynasty ever since.

*By two, I am meaning that the 2nd "Reagan" administration was essentially the first Bush administration, as by that point in time nearly all of the Reagan staffers had left and been replaced by Bush cronies, and Reagan himself was increasingly just a spokesman and figurehead -- hence we got all of the BS with Saddam, Osama, Iran-Contra, etc.

I believe the government trend towards Communism started with Eisenhower in the late 50's.   Some people believe the assassination of President Kennedy was a result of his administration retarding the growth of Communism in the United States.   My Grandmother of German decent  in her broken English once told me what the government does is change things little by little over the years and before the people realize it, it is to late.  People are so brain washed that they call the enemy within liberals when they are in fact down-right Communiists.   The only reason there hasn't been a revolution is this country is because of the welfare system and government grants to immigrants.   The only immigrants to this country both legal and illegal is from third world and undeveloped countries.   The plan is to fill the country up with these people and it will be easy to employ a full dictatorship down the line because these people are used to being told what to do.  They do not know what this country used to be like nor are they used to liberty and freedom.  What is amazing is that the people that have the most to lose under Communism are for it.   I guess they are not aware of history books whereas they are the first people that are taken out under a full blown Communist State and then all the opposition is taken out next.
Our founding fathers must be rolling over in their graves with what has happened to our great country.

As many of us can see the incremental socialism enveloping the country, the lobbyist openly bribing legislators, as congress abdicates their duties in regard to declaring wars, WHY do we put the same people back in congress year after year?

It seems that the people just will not, or cannot, learn.

We must get term limits on reps and senators.  Their staff would have to come and go with the electees.  Staff should be paid well, but, knowing it is for a fixed time.   Beauracracy is a serious problem too.

I am not an american citizen but love the U.S. Constitution. The Constitution (for the most part) has been adopted by 16 free loving countries in the world. The U.S. does not not have the monopoly on freedom and liberty, but I am certain, the primary responsibility to hold that banner high.

Per the 1st amendment...respect the establishment and exercise of religion,  freedom of speech and of the press, the right of peacable assembly, and the right to petition the government for redress of grievances.

Let go of the partisan rhetoric and focus on the root causes of the declination of freedom and liberty in your own nation and mine which is ...moral decay.  I believe one of your founding fathers stated that the Constitution can only stand with a moral people to lift it up. From what I've seen coming out of Hollywood and New York in the way of TV shows and movies, let alone the trash on the internet, liers, cheaters, hypocrisy in all shapes and forms, materialism and consumerism to the nth degree. The same downfall in history caused all great FREE civilizations to collapse. Refocusing on moral character traits such as honor, respect, freedom and liberty, and most of all a respect for God can be the only remedy.

Moral agency for politicians, having morally informed people who vote responsibly and a focus on the God that allowed our freedoms to become reality is the only solution. By the way, the U.S. Constitution started falling well before Woodrow Wilsons, Fed Reserve, FDR's New Deal, Teddy Roosevelts military actions in the Philipines etc. Case in point, the Federal and States invasion of privacy and property abductions of the Mormon settlers. Way back in 1830's just decades after the Constitution was framed.
