One To Go !!

With Huckabee dropping out , America is down to two Republicans to choose from. Now...how do we get rid of McCain?

The March 4th Texas Primary brought Huckabee to his knees as he bowed out of his 08 run at The White House, leaving John McCain and Ron Paul as the only two Republicans left in the race.

For a Ron Paul supporter the question now is what does Ron and his Revolutionaries need to do to get Ron in position to win the nomination before November. The obvious answer to that would be to get McCain out of the way and having Ron run non-contested.

We have seen from the Democrats Clinton and Obama that it is not to early in the race to start bashing your opponent and the time is now to follow in their footsteps. Unfortunately Ron is not a bashing kind of guy. But that doesn't mean that his supporters cant do it.

While attempts have been made by some people in the news lately to dig dirt on McCain including questions about him being a natural or naturalized citizen and whether that makes him unable to be President . . . to his questionable connections with Ralph Nader. There has even been talk about him using racial slurs when referring to the nationality of his captors when he was a POW. All these things seem to come up in the news and mysteriously disappear a few days later.

So more must be done.

While I don't believe that anyone could find any dirt on Ron Paul that could be proven, I can't say that about McCain, as his record shows he is obviously a man of many secrets.

VIEW POINT:

The only personal things I have against McCain are his "I love GW" political stance and the fact that he is standing in the way of Ron Paul saving America.

For me...that is unacceptable.

Let the mud slinging begin !

We definitely need to get rid of McCain...the question is, how do we spread the truth about him?  We all know that he was more of a POS than a POW when he was captured.  We've all heard his nick name "song bird" and the reasons why.  Now why isn't that in the main stream media?  How do we get it there?  We need a plan of attack (unfortunately, minus the bullets).

Mudslinging is ill-advised.  What needs to happen is for people to learn about the policies and positions of these two men, and why they are important.  Then, people need to realize that voting for principles and policies is vastly more important than playing inane high school popularity games.

Unfortunately even if McCain falls it wouldn't automatically go to the last man standing (Ron Paul). Since I think John McCain is a long dead corpse mummified in the American Flag moaning "powwwwerrrrr" I think just about anyone who actually has an ounce of conservatism in them would be a better choice. The disintegration of his campaign would certainly give a much better opportunity to Ron Paul, but if you think that the GOP would actually back him you've got another think coming. McCain has the plurality of votes, and with him gone those votes would have to be freed for a brokered convention.

Likely many of the people who had already dropped out would throw their hats back in the ring and try to go to the convention. At which point ANYBODY could get the Republican nomination. The GOP is not bound by anything except its best interests, and can choose virtually anyone...including those who didn't even run.
