Start your OWN Revolution. Be Loud, Proud, Creative and JUST DO IT! Are you are disheartened Ron Paul supporter? Waiting for the rest of the country to understand what deep you-know-what we're in? GET REAL! It's time to act up, speak out and rock on. It is NOT the time to accept McCain, Obama and Clinton as the anointed ones. This is NOT a time for politics as usual. We have a country to save.by Sherry Baker

"Speaking the truth in times of universal deceit is a revolutionary act." -- George Orwell
Despite all the wailing and posturing and praying and begging and insisting that the Revolution isn't dead that it is far more than Ron Paul and that the move to take back our country and our constitution must continue -- will it really?
I have the feeling we are all waiting for a wave of patriotic fervor, a fever of intelligence finally burning with the understanding of what this country has become, a passion fueled with we're-mad-a-hells-and-we-aren't-going-to-take-it-anymore fury spilling out into the streets. We are waiting for an orator in the great and magnificent tradition of Martin Luther King Jr. to shout out his dream, our dreams, and march us righteously to our own salvation. (Of course, if such a leader does emerge, let's all quickly do a "chip-in" and get him or her a bullet-proof vest..)
We are waiting for someone to turn the spotlights on reality , waiting for the good ol' U.S. of A. folks to react en masse and say we CARE about a million Iraqis slaughtered in the name of this country for no good reason at all.
We are waiting for the floodgates of truth to open and our families and neighbors and the people five blocks over and those at the beach and those at the mountains, all of us to march and say, " We INSIST the bums be thrown out NOW. We will not allow those who lied to send our sons and daughters to murder and be murdered in an illegal invasion to stay in office. We will follow the law but we will insist that when our so-called leaders break the law, torture and deceive, we will see them impeached and IMPRISONED."
And so we wait, those of us who see our economy crashing, our nation's integrity sacrificed on the neocon alter of their mighty power/oil/elite gods. And we wait. And we watch the grinding to a finish of political campaigns accompanied by the blithers of ad nauseum repeated jingos, the tired shallow promises, the slick phrases .
And we try to believe tomorrow will be the day, next week, sometime before it is too late, when the our country, our brethren, spill into the streets, and use civil disobedience and good old fashioned stubbornness to say to all the so-called frontrunners, the anointed ones, McCain, Obama, Clinton: "Hell, no, we won't GO into this disastrous future of hundred year wars, illegal invasions, no border security, Big Brother growing like a cancerous evil and the slicing and dicing of our constitution to suit you.."
But waiting for the majority to wake up, to "get it", to care enough to get off their broadening backsides to actually take action ... waiting for a miracle to bring Ron Paul somehow into the highest office in the land... waiting for the idea of the new Revolution to take hold quickly and organically enough before we are, as a nation, bankrupt beyond help... waiting for SOMEONE, some how, some way to create a tsunami of change is wrong-headed and downright dangerous .
It is time now, we may not have time tomorrow or next week, for those of us with the intellectual capacity and the intestinal fortitude to speak up and out. Forget the waiting.
Allow yourself to think as a revolutionary -- not to take over this country or to do anything illegal but to be willing to go against the status quo. ACT UP. Point out jingos and plug in logic.
As my southern momma always told me, " It pays to get your mouth open, honey!"
I'm tired of people being so polite. " Be POSITIVE. Ron Paulers don't do dirty politics", one person told me. "Dirty politics" is about smears, lies, distortions. So what if you aren't being good little play-by-the-rules happy faces when you see the truth about some of the candidates and you tell that truth. That's not a dishonest smear.
Is it "dirty" to spill negative but true beans if the very life of the country is at stake? What IS the truth about the backgrounds of these people running for the highest office? Forget political correctness. If there's relevant truth, dirty or not, that relates directly to honesty and capacity to lead, for example, get it out there.
And if you care about the sanctity of life , don't sit back and be hesitant to articulate , to broadcast, to DECLARE the disaster that is America's involvement in Iraq. This is not about jingos like "cut and running " or a "war we can't win". It is about an ILLEGAL INVASION and slaughter upon slaughter, hell brought to a country by our lying presidential regime.
Maybe we can save our constitution, what's left of our assets AND our asses by taking the truth we learn and know, individually, to the streets, to the airways -- in any way we can think of ... Blog it. Wear it emblazoned on t-shirts. Stick it in signs in your yard, on your front door. Put bumper stickers on your car. Argue. Speak out!
I am reminded of a very old comedy routine a very young Andy Griffith once performed in the days pre-"Mayberry". He told a hilarious story of why the Americans won the Revolutionary War.
It was simple, he said. Here are the "rules" of that war.
The American colonists got to wear whatever they wanted and hid behind bushes and jumped out and surprised and terrified the British, whereas the British wore red and had to march in a straight line.
It's not that simple of course, today. But we can jump out behind symbolic bushes and use surprise and the power of the written and spoken word any way we can to dissent, to spread the truth.
I'll end this with a bravo to the young actor/comedian who was a guest on Fox and used the opportunity recently to " jump out of the bushes" and put the truth right in the startled pancake-makeup drenched face of the smug, spray-haired talking head Faux News commentator.

Sherry, I love your article - waiting for the zombies to wake up is not the way to go. Even my upper-middle-class acquaintances who pride themselves on "being informed" spend their spare time watching "American Idol" and other important stuff like that. The brain-washing propaganda machine has had a couple of generations to instill the belief that we have had a real choice in our "representation" in the government, and people think I'm an "extremist" when I say that there's not a dime's worth of difference between the Neocons and the Democrats.
I agree we need to fan the flames of our "revolution", though the "home-grown terrorism act" will probably label us as such.
I'm not as pessimistic about waking up the zombies as you are - real hard (money) times are 'a comin' very soon - hopefully we won't have martial law declared.
Look up my article on the Fat Lady Not Warming Up Yet- I probably was too early for this one. Wheat, corn, soybeans and other necessities have doubled in price since last year, and you ain't seen nothin' yet.
Sherry, I jump out of the bushes all the time and I am a fearful sight. Most of the people I frighten have never even heard of Dr. Ron Paul. The MSM has done their job well.
But, I am waiting. I am waiting for the Campaign to give us some direction so that we can mount a coordinated effort! We can't all pull in different directions or our voice will drop below the noise level.
Maybe after the Texas Primary tomorrow and Dr. Paul wins that battle the Campaign will come up with a plan. If it is the March on Washington, then let's get on with it. If not, then let's have a Constitution day where we descend on every courthouse in the USA.
But, let's do SOMETHING significant that the MSM cannot totally ignore.

We agree which is why we started this event.

April fool, America!
Your dollar is worthless!
Announcing the First Annual Federal Reserve protest!
This April 1st, concerned citizens will converge upon the 12 Federal Reserve Banks to show their displeasure with the Fed’s policies as well as their present monopoly on currency.
This will be an outstanding display of grass roots activism that is both disparate and synchronized and show the power of Ron Paul’s message in motivating a revolution in American politics.
It is one thing for a local group to hold a singular protest and quite another for there to be a nationwide, simultaneous event. This cannot fail in attracting local and national coverage on an issue that has received significant publicity during this election season.
This will be a day to be remembered.
If you have any questions, we will do our best to assist. Organization is underway but we are looking for leaders in all of the 12 major cities and any subsidiary branches as well as foreign nations who would also like to protest their central banks.
