The McCain, Nader Connection What is the motivation behind Ralph Nader joining the 2008 Presidential race now and why John McCain welcomes the idea.by Kipper Mathews

People are saying that Ralph Nader's motivation to run this year hints that he hopes to help his longtime allies the Republicans, namely John McCain to whom he owes one big favor. That "favor" began four years ago when the Republicans spearheaded by John McCain a former member of the Federal Election Commission, urged the authorities in Florida to put Nader on the ballot there despite his failure to qualify, in hopes to draw votes from the Democrats.
McCain also sent his own lawyer, Trevor Potter down to Tallahassee to assist Nader and help him fight in court.
What a guy!
Republicans and activists also gathered signatures to gain ballot access for Nader, while several major Republican lobbyists and special interest donors sent generous checks to his campaign.
The Nader campaign first sought John McCain's backing in the case and the Bush campaign also asked McCain to get involved.
Nader subsequently sent a letter to McCain thanking him for his support.
VIEW POINT:
Voters Beware! This is just another example of the Governments obvious "In your face" dirty tricks that many Americans seem to be turning a blind eye to.
It is time for the sheeple to shed their wool and unite against this and all other blatant government corruption and manipulation

I had a feeling that there was something up with Nader's last minute announcement to run. I think that the GOP was hoping that Ron Paul would decide to make a third party bid and when he made it clear that he would not, they recruited Nader. This is America folks! Aren't you proud?
I posted a more thorough comment below yours on Joel Hirschhorn's recent article "God Bless Ralph Nader."
In summary, this blurb of yours is so cursory and makes such broad, unsubstantiated claims, that it has no merit. And, sadly, you just perpetutate the (far too common) stereotype of paranoid libertarians.
