Topic: Libertarianism
Christine Smith Radio Interview: topics include the future of the LP, Ron Paul, and more

At this time, I believe, the greatest threat to the LP are the people who have infiltrated and hijacked our party for their own agendas (with liberty being far down their list of priorities if at all).

True principled libertarians, are you seriously wondering and deeply concerned about the future of the LP?

As many of you know (from my previous articles "It's Time To Clean the LP House," and "I Will Not Compromise,"), I am devoted to my libertarian principles and to strengthening and restoring the LP. I want to see the LP become, at every level, an effective tool for achieving liberty. At this time, I believe, the greatest threat to the LP are the people who have infiltrated and hijacked our party for their own agendas (with liberty being far down their list of priorities if at all). Thus, I invite you to listen to an interview conducted with me back in December 2007 (though we just now received the archive recording of it). --Christine Smith

PRESS RELEASE

You must hear this interview if you care, are concerned and ever wondered about the future of the LP. Recorded and broadcast on Dec. 7, 2007, Christine was invited to again be a guest on Paul Molloy's Freedom Works! radio show. (We've just received the archive so are sharing it now.) According to the show website, their broadcast covers 'more than 3,000,000 people in and around Tampa Bay,' reaching listeners throughout the Clearwater-Tampa-St. Petersburg Florida region on WTAN-AM 1340. The show was also simulcast online.

Her third appearance on the show, she was asked to discuss her opinion on topics including the future of the LP, the LP leadership, the LP presidential race, and her thoughts regarding Dr. Ron Paul. The LP - party of losers? - party of principle? Or as Smith thinks, a party comprised of many good true libertarians nationwide, but whose leadership unfortunately has other agendas coming first rather than focusing on achieving liberty?
Be sure to listen to the entire show - including the excellent commentary and discussion between Libertarians Paul Molloy and Mike MG Gilson, which follows Molloy's interview with Christine.

Note: Keep in mind this was recorded on Dec. 7, 2007 (prior to Christine's decision to stay in the race). Thanks to all of you who have given your support, Christine Smith's campaign has become stronger than ever and she is going forward confidently to achieve the LP presidential nomination in May.
