Why District 14 Texas Can’t Vote for Chris Peden - His Policy Would Demand a Military Draft

A vote for Ron Paul is a vote for keeping a voice in Washington that will not bow to special interests. He is not interested in power or money. Like the founding fathers he is interested in what is good for the people of America. That cannot be said of Chris Peden.

This is a message to District 14 of Texas: Please do not vote for Chris Peden!

Chris Peden wants to be a government insider. He wants to win two terms so he can get that $15,000 a month pension that Ron Paul refuses to take on principal.

But I will tell you what the biggest reason is: He will vote for war with Iran or anybody the government insiders want him to. He will march in step with the special interest groups that want to use 9/11 as an excuse to keep us at war forever (remember McCain's 100 or 1,000 year comments).

The special interest groups give big money to politicians who do their bidding and Chris Peden wants in on all that!

He calls himself a Christian, but Christians do not go about the world forcing freedom on countries that don't want them there and taking their oil. You can't find that in the New Testament.

But the most important point to be made is that he will do everything to put your children in harm's way. He will support war against "radical-Islam" everywhere. He doesn't worry so much about protecting this country as he does sending our sons and daughters to "free" oil rich nations.

He makes the statement , "We must fight Islamo-fascists abroad rather than fight them at home." I have heard this said many times but have not seen one shred of evidence that this is true. All the experts agree that we were attacked on 9/11 because we are over there, and even Bin Laden has said that.

Other experts agree that the only way we can continue to fight this war is through a selective service draft. That means that your sons and daughters will be at the beckon call of special interests that want to invade oil-rich countries like Iran and Pakistan.

Military recruitment is not going up so how are we to fight these continuous wars? The only way is through a draft: Do you want that for your children. Or would you rather the USA be friendly to all nations and not entangle themselves with any? Chris Peden does not want this. He is a baby-Bush just like McCain. Read his website. He is stealing some of Dr. Paul's ideas to make himself look good, but he gives himself away by promoting endless war.

A vote for Ron Paul is a vote for keeping a voice in Washington that will not bow to special interests. He is not interested in power or money. Like the founding fathers he is interested in what is good for the people of America. That cannot be said of Chris Peden.

Although I do not support Chris Peden, and am myself a diehard Ron Paul man. I do believe a draft would be just the ticket to wake up alot of American voters and work in our favor. I come from a famiy that has has had four generations of military service. My Grandfather served in WW1, my father was in WW2 and Korea. My brother inlaw and my self served in Vietnam. My brother was in Gulf Storm, and still suffers from it due to blast trauma to his head. My daughter recently left the military after 6 years, serving two of those in Kandahar Afganistan as a MP gaurding Afhgan detainees. I'm not posting this for bragging rights. I'm posting it because I'm sick of people who have never served a day of thier life in the military or had a son or daughter serve, but yet thier out there waving thier little signs and shouting thier support for thier pro war canidate. Its so easy for a person to support a war as long as someone else is doing the dieing for it. It is repugnant to me to here someone say we we have to continue this trumped up war to save face or to protect our honor. Saving face or honor is not worth the life of one American GI. We lost face and honor along time ago with the way our arrogant goverment meddlels in other nations affairs. So I want the draft reinstated. I want Rommney and Huckabee and Bush and Peden and all the other war mongers out there to be forced to send thier husbands, wifes, sons and daughters to get thier ass shot at and do alittle of the dieing. You reinstate the draft and you'll see a whole different tune being whistled. No exceptions! If your a able body American? You serve, period.
