Ron Paul is the only Governor running for President

Ron Paul is the only Governor running for President

If you want a ruler or master, Ron Paul is not your man as he is a governor. Not a ruler or dictator. We should define our terms before we go on. A ruler/master/dictator owns your body, labor, property and life. A governor is one who settles disputes between two or more free people and executes the solutions to those disputes. When two or more persons' inalienable rights come into conflict, then resolution is needed. That is a governor's responsibility. This is not to be confused with the term we use to define the chief executive of the state as they too have become rulers or executors of dictates made by the ruling or master classes.

Have you heard the saying a government that governs least governs best? In fact, only a government that governs least governs, as when it goes beyond the minimum necessary to keep order it starts to rule, dictate and enslave. It is not that difficult to tell when a government stops being a government and starts being a usurper and enslaver.

The Constitution of the United States set up a government that was to be limited to securing our inalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. This government was expected to govern within those limitations. The moment it went beyond those mandates made by the creators of the government, it started to become the master of its creators.

Is it true that when you give up liberty for security you deserve neither and will end up with neither? Is this an axiom of life? I see only one candidate in the race for the White House that wishes to do exactly his mandate under the Constitution and nothing more. That man is Ron Paul. It is easy for me to see that he is the only governor running and the rest are rulers or masters. He is the only one that does not want you to give up your life, liberty, or pursuit of happiness for a pretense of security.

The other candidates expect us to submit to their will and that of the ruling class in America. Let's start not just with the war in Iraq but the whole notion of being the world's police force. The other candidates expect us to give up our labor, property and liberty to support an imperialism that does not serve our interests but instead serves the special interests only.

Just watch all those other candidates running for office and listen to their promises of security whether it is security from terrorists or in employment, education or even health care. Then decide for yourself if you want to give up your liberty for these false claims of security. Ask yourself when you vote if you are voting for liberty or security. If the answer is security, rest assured you will end up with neither.

Social Security started out as a voluntary program to provide for old age security. What has happened? Some 70 years later it is neither voluntary nor secure. Why should that surprise us?

The choice is clear and there will be no change, if that is what you desire, unless you vote for liberty and for a real governor. Don't waste your vote on a false sense of security and a ruler or master.
