Topic: Ron Paul
McCentury Tries to Take Back 100 YEARS Remark

Which is it, John? Are we supposed to believe what you said at first or what you are saying now? You might not agree with Ron Paul on his war views, but at least he stands behind what he says.

We all remember John "McCentury" McCain's line about staying in Iraq for 100 more years. We also know that he wasn't joking! Unfortunately, politicians are rarely held accountable for their promises or actions because they know that voters are lazy and have short memories.

To dismiss people's concerns about his warmongering remarks, McCain said this week:

"By the way, that reminds me of that '100 year thing'. My friends, the war will be over soon. The war, for all intents and purposes, although the insurgency will go on for years and years and years. But it will be handled by the Iraqis, not by us."

Yep. Sure. We believe you.

McCain has started back-peddling, flip-flopping, and trying to rewrite history.

The Democrats won't forget his 100 years remark, and neither should we. This contest isn't over. We can keep educating the public about the dangers of a McCain presidency.
