We Need To Fix The Voting System Unless we repair the rigged voting system, our efforts for Ron Paul will be ineffective.by Ivan from Oregon

Some time ago I posted a short article here warning that unless we fix the voting system, our efforts will be largely irrelevant:
Debating the broken system won't fix it. We need to start taking some action to demand paper ballots, hand-counted at the precincts. No capital investment is necessary. I'm sure Paulites would be available to do the counting. A good start would be to flood our elected "representatives" and our local media with these demands. This web site makes it quite easy:
I suggest spreading this message to everyone on your list. If we accomplish nothing else this year, it will all have been worthwhile.

"I'm sure Paulites would be available to do the counting." Sorry, but I don't trust "Paulites". A lot of your writers and thinkers have shown a clear prediliction for the idea that the people are "sheeple" and that they are too ignorant to understand reality or choose what they want, and I wouldn't put it beyond you to rig the vote to fall your way.
If we do hand counting, it needs to be open, with all parties there.

Logical, I love ya, but you can be a pain in the posterior. Of course all parties would be present. In Canada, they call them "scrutineers". I should have said "help with (the chore of) counting".
