A summary of what, in my opinion, is wrong with Britain today. by Sandie Seward

Chinese/Italian trains, Tube stock that can no longer be repaired in Britain due to our "lack of facilities", no more working coalmines in Wales, very little car manufacturing except for the Mini (German) and the Honda (Japanese).
No apprenticeships, because there are no manufacturing jobs to learn anymore, no shipbuilding, all gone, probably for ever.
Gawd help us if there's another war, because we will be absolutley "Stuffed"!
Welcome to Britain in the 21st century, the land of Harems, Sharia Law, call centres, (those that aren't in India), supermarket shelf stacking, (for those lucky people with enough money left over after paying the increased Council Tax, Income Tax, and Utility Bills, to be able to buy food.)
Milk soon to come in "bags" instead of bottles, horrendous train fares, petrol and diesel so expensive that you can only use your car once a week, oh, my Gawd, the bloody list goes on for ever!
Time to call it a day, methinks.
