Just a little post-debate rant

Once in a while a guy gets irritated enough to write a bit without the sustained effort necessary for anything that could respectably be called a "column."

This morning I hear dozens of clips from Obama and Hillary blasting "tax cuts for the wealthy."

Unless one is up to his navel in the public trough, it must be an article of faith that any tax cut for anybody is a useful step.

Taxes and their reductions should be equitable, but I'd rather wealth be farted away by a Paris Hilton than expropriated for your average congressman to squander with a grinning assurance that it's for my own good.

Dr. Paul would do well to redouble his efforts to bring this elemental point to public attention.

I am not wealthy this or any other morning, just grumpy.
