Will the Anti-Christ be Anti-Homeschool?

In 1925, the United States Supreme Court unanimously declared that “the fundamental theory of liberty upon which all governments in this Union repose excludes any general power of the State to standardize its children by forcing them to accept instruction from public teachers only.”

The hard, tight-fisted knock at the door came on a Thursday morning. When Katherina Plett opened the door of her home in Paderborn, Germany, she found herself staring into the face of an undercover police woman. Little did Katherina know when she opened the door that secretly lurking nearby were German officers who would arrest her and raid her home! Katherina's crime? Homeschooling. Germany is presently reinforcing a 1938 Hitler-induced law which made homeschooling illegal. When this news came to my attention, I felt the shock, since my wife homeschools our three children. It stopped me in my tracks and forced me to ask, "Will the Anti-Christ be anti-homeschool, and enforce international laws, making home based education illegal?"

Inside the Nazi mind

In 1938 Nazi Germany passed a law requiring all children to attend public school to avoid "the emergence of parallel societies based on separate philosophical convictions." At the core of their belief system was twisted logic that says, "You can't be trusted to educate your own children because we cannot afford freedom of thought. We have Europe to conquer, better yet; the entire world is in the palm of our hands." If you think this is a stretch of the truth, study the philosophies of Adolph Hitler. Even though Hitler was not the Antichrist, both he and Nazi Germany foreshadowed the emergence of the future global government.Early on, Hitler understood the psychology of propaganda. That is why he appointed Dr. Paul Joseph Goebbels as his propaganda minister. As a devout anti-Semite, Goebbels took total control of the media and developed it into a mouthpiece for Nazi philosophy. He employed argumentum ad nauseam, the practice of repeating a lie until it eventually is believed to be true. He so mastered it until it eventually became known as the Goebbel technique. To make sure every home was properly programmed with Nazi ideology, he ordered the broadcasting of Nazi propaganda to the masses, all the while blocking out news from other countries. Any potential threat to their influence was outlawed. Is it any wonder that homeschooling was outlawed? The propaganda ministry could not achieve its goal of total conquest if the educational system was not completely controlled. Simply put, no matter how large the megaphone of propaganda, it could not be a complete success if parents were allowed to raise free-thinkers who might influence society contrary to Hitler's agenda. With the influence of homeschooling and other contrary influences out of the way, Hitler was able to hypnotize Germany into embracing Social Darwinism. This was the ethical theory, birthed by Herbert Spencer, which taught that the strong should thrive at the expense of the weak. To them, this justified their engagement of eugenics, the study of hereditary improvement of the human race by controlled selective breeding. This led to forcing people to undergo surgical sterilization to prevent people, considered to be carriers of undesirable genetic traits, from having children. This resulted in people like Dr. Josef Mengele carrying out brutal medical experiments on human subjects at Auschwitz. Forcing people into pressure chambers and freezing them to death was just part of their attempt at making sure the Nazi party did not lose its monopoly of power. As reinforcement, Hitler established and deployed the Schutzstaffel (SS) or "protection squad" to carry out their genocidal dreams, murdering 11 million innocent people, 6 million of whom were Jewish. Since Hitler was not the Antichrist, just how brutal will the real beast be?

EUROPEAN COURT OF HUMAN RIGHTS = GLOBAL GOVERNMENT

If you are not sure if world government is gaining strength in Europe today, consider the actions of the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), headquartered in Strasbourg, France. One couple who felt the sting of their power was Fritz and Marianna Konrad who discovered their children were being force-fed corrupt teachings about sexuality. The Konrads filed a complaint with this court which stated that Germany's law, which forces public school attendance, jeopardized their children's religious beliefs. The court ruled that the parents' desire to exclude their children from such influence could not dominate the need for mandatory school attendance. In other words, "We cannot allow your religious beliefs to upset our quest for global mind conditioning." Shouldn't the very court which claims to defend human rights in its name have come to the Konrad's defense? Can you imagine the deep disappointment and rejection the Konrads felt after such cold denial? As another example of the death grip world government structures like the ECHR has in Europe, consider this: In Brussels, Belgium, the editor of The Brussels Journal website was called into the police station. They said, "The Belgian authorities are of the opinion that, as a homeschooler, he has not adequately educated his children and, hence, is neglecting his duty as a parent, which is a criminal offence." This incident leaves us with the impression that the ECHR does not fully protect European citizens against Hitler's laws. Another case in Germany involves a 15-year-old homeschool student, Melissa Busekros. She was seized from her home by police and taken to a psychiatric institution. She was then removed from the institution and taken to an undisclosed location. German officialsat the timerefused to inform Melissa's parents of her location. Citizenswere notseeing this case being reported by their German news agencies. Netzwerk-Bildungsfreifeit, a German homeschool advocacy group, said "Germany blatantly spurns parental and human rights and cannot be regarded any longer as a free country. It is running more and more to tyranny and dictatorship." Didn't Nazism die in 1945?

The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child

A core value contained in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) states: "Considering that the child should be fully prepared to live an individual life in society, and brought up in the spirit of the ideals proclaimed in the Charter of the United Nations.as indicated in the Declaration of the Rights of the Child, the child needs special safeguards and care, including appropriate legal protection." Legal protection? Protection from what? Their own parents? According to Michael Farris, chairman of the American Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA), the Convention places serious restrictions on parent's rights to guide their children. Article 13 states that parents should be subject to prosecution for any attempt to prevent their children from interacting with material they deem unacceptable. When a nation is bound to the UNCRC, children receive legal protection to resist their parent's religious guidance. According to Farris, in 1995 the UK was declared out of compliance with the UNCRC, "because it allowed parents to remove their children from public school sex-education classes without consulting the child." Farris also said, "By the same reasoning, parents would be denied the ability to homeschool their children." Could this be a display of an even larger scheme: a global initiative to paralyze fundamental parental control?

AMERICAN HOMESCHOOLERS AT RISK?

In 1925, the United States Supreme Court unanimously declared that "the fundamental theory of liberty upon which all governments in this Union repose excludes any general power of the State to standardize its children by forcing them to accept instruction from public teachers only." "Yeah, but a US president would never allow a one-world government to infiltrate the sovereignty of America," some would say. "These overseas reports about homeschoolers being arrested won't affect Americans, so we can breathe a sigh of relief." Oh really? The Clinton administration attempted to make ratification of the UNCRC treaty a major policy objective. It was signed by Madeleine Albright, the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, on February 16, 1995. However, they failed to achieve a two-thirds majority of the Senate. Hillary Rodham Clinton is a former chairman of the Washington-based Children's Defense Fund. As such she supported the radical legal doctrine of children's rights and promoted this U.N. Convention. Remember her book, "It Takes A Village?" The concept behind this book is that it's too tough for the traditional family to raise kids in today's world and that "the village" or society should claim control. Is America at risk? You have heard the evidence. Even if Hillary Clinton does not win the presidency in 2008, there are many more like her who share her views. Does America have guaranteed protection from the potential dangers of the UNCRC? Farris said that the UNCRC could render homeschooling unlawful in the United States, even though the U.S. Senate has never authorized this Convention. Ferris proclaimed, "If the international law movement is not curtailed in the United States, American homeschooling will be banned."

THE PROPHECY FACTOR

Daniel 7 and Rev. 13 harmonize, providing us with animal symbols which represent nations that will exist in the last days. Daniel saw a lion with eagle's wings, a bear, a leopard with four heads, and a ten-horned beast. These 4 kingdoms came together in Revelation as a unified beast, giving the Antichrist unprecedented global power. The leopard portion of this beast represents Germany. The four leopard heads represent how many times Germany rose and fell. Hitler ruled during the famous 3rd Reich (head). Nazi Germany was defeated by the Allied armies during WWII and divided into occupation zones. The Berlin wall was constructed; dividing East from West, fulfilling the first part of Rev. 13:3 which states that one of his heads was wounded to death. There is more to the story. The same verse also states that the deadly wound was healed. In 1989, the Berlin Wall came down and the deadly wound was healed. Daniel 7:6 says that dominion was given to the leopard. As the most powerful economy in the European Union, is it any wonder this renewed power could be going to Germany? Germany currently holds the brief 6 month EU presidency. Germany's president is Angela Merkel and her top goal is to pass the EU constitution. The re-birth of the Holy Roman Empire is in the making. Prophecy gives us insight that the Antichrist will arise from a re-born Holy Roman Empire. It is no wonder that we are able to trace the seed of opposition to homeschooling to the very heart of the Antichrist's power. Global thinkers recognize that if they are to achieve their dream of one-world government, they must force all citizens to behave globally. This explains why modern German and Belgian police are forcibly taking children away from their parents and hauling them off to attend state-run schools. (See lesson one of Understanding the Endtime for more information on Daniel's beasts and the nations they represent)

The Real Force Behind Global Government

Revelation 13:2 reveals the secret of power behind the dominating global government beast: "and the dragon (Satan) gave him (the one-world government beast) his power, and his seat, and great authority." Will the Antichrist be Anti-homeschool? As a man possessed by Satan himself, will he have a choice? Are we staring into the eyes of a hideous monster who is about to emerge from a lair darker than Hitler's? As the beast of Revelation rises and the world looks on with wonder and amazement, we should not be surprised when he targets our dearest and most precious commodity: our children. Do we value the freedom to choose how we educate them? Will the Antichrist be anti-homeschool? Since factual evidence reveals that world government structures, over which the Anti-Christ will rule, are anti-homeschool, the answer is likely to be yes. It won't, however, be without a fight. With approximately 1.6 to 2.0 million children being homeschooled in America, the global powers that be will most assuredly be aware of our presence. I, for one, plan to take a stand for freedom!

While I can't speak for THE anti-Christ, as an anti-Christ I can confidently attest that I am 100% in favor of home schooling.  In fact, I applaud and encourage the individual who is willing to take responsibility for outcomes that are important to them in any aspect of life regardless of how Christ fits into their lives.

Sometimes a leopard is just a leopard, an eagle is just an eagle, a bear is just a bear and a ten-horned beast is just a dream. Prophecies are nothing more than dreams and fortune telling.

I don't expect to convince anyone around here of anything, but while I am in favor of home schooling and not in favor of government schooling, I make no association with this subject and prophetic scripture. By definition, prophecy does not have to forecast the future although it can and does. The prophecies in Daniel referred to the governments of Babalonia, Medes and Persians, Greek, and Rome. As Fire Eater says, anyone who denies that Jesus Christ came in the flesh is an antichrist. My understanding of Revelation is that it was all fulfilled in the first century. These are not the last days, but for the last two thousand years and on into the remaining future are the days of the new covenant. The covenant has been extended to all mankind and each person is free to accept it or reject it. The State governments treat home schoolers bad enough already. They pay taxes, but because they don't send their kids to the government school they are not permitted to participate in intramural sports, labs, or other activities. And in some States there are onerus regulations that have to be met. As I have said in another place, before government schools we were the most literate nation in the world. Now we are number seven. I share Craig's concerns but from a differnet vantage point.

Of course Farris says that anti-homeschooling laws in Germany are a threat to American homeschooling. It's another scare tactic to keep all the HSLDA sheep paying their dues. The thing that amazes me is that all of you fundamentalist christians keep taking the bait. Wake up and start thinking for yourselves instead of swallowing everything they feed you.

I don't think homeschool is mentioned in the Bible but I get your point and agree with you.  Thanks for bringing this news about Germany homeschool laws to my attention.  Articles like this get us prepared for what the US might be like in a few years.

I'm a follower of Christ and I know my share about the Bible, not nearly enough but I do have a solid foundation.  From my studies I would have to say DX10 is correct about the Romans and Babalonians and such.  He however has forgoten about the duality in prophecy.  There is always a dual role to each prophecy, a minor and major fullfillment.

In 71 AD the first minor fullfillment happened, the temple was destroyed and the alter was dessicrated in accordance with both Daniel and Revelations "the abomination of desecration".  The second major fullfillment is yet to come.  Sorry to ruin your nice cozy world where America is heaven  but the NWO is going to happen eventualy like it or not and they'll probably act a lot like more like Hitler then Gandhi.

The abomination of desolation was probably pagan sacrifice on the altar.  Luke just calls it the Roman Army.  Sorry, but there was no dual fulfillment intended.  Just isn't in the text.

The early Christians were all looking for the fulfillment of this prophecy given to them by our Lord Who had promised them that it would occur in their lifetime.  You can see that by references to a day of the Lord throughout the New Testament.  It is the reason that they were selling their property in Jerusalem and bringing their proceeds to the Apostles to be distributed for the common good.  They knew that soon title to property in Jerusalem would be meaningless.  Stones in the Temple measured 24 feet by 24 feet by 16  feet.  Yet, it was all thrown down according to the word of the Lord.  There is much more, but I digress.

Home schooling is one of the best methods to break the chain of propoganda being distributed to students by our government.  Most of our ten grandchildren have been home schooled and they always behaved like adults since they were never subjected to peer pressure like the students in the public government schools to dress funny or do the tattoo or piercing thing.

When she finished her home schooling through high school I took one of our girls over to a local college to see about enrolling.  I asked the administrator if being home schooled was an issue.  He said, not at all, and if she had scored as well as 22 on the ACT (SAT ?) she would be elegible for the Presidents scholarship.  He asked her if she took the test to which she replied that she had.  He then asked her what she scored.  She replied 30.  She got the scholarship and went on from there to graduate with honors and double major from Oklahoma University.  She now works in journalism.  Of course, I knew she would do well.  She was reading Curfew Must Not Ring Tonight when she was four years old.

And, that is just one story among many.  Cheers.

DX10, for your information anyone can believe that Jesus Christ "came in the flesh"  (unfortunate choice of words), but only Christians believe he rose from the dead and is the son of God. Those that believe he was just a man are not anti-christs to anyone but religious zealots.

Agreed that home schooling is a better alternative to government indoctrination, as long as irrational religious indoctrination does not replace the three Rs - you know, real world education, not theology.

Aguila1, the quote is directly from 1st John in the Bible and is the definition of anti-Christ.  In those days the Gnostics were denying that Jesus Christ came in the flesh (a perfect choice of words) since they believed that no good thing resided in our flesh.  If you are going to provide me with information, you will have to do a little better than that.

And, I definitely believe he rose from the dead.
