The Rise of the Ron Paul Republicans. by The English Teacher

The hot story today is that another RP Republican has come out of the woodwork and is running for Congress. That's great news! Realizing that Ron Paul has little chance of making president this year, the grassroots are still doing something. That's the beauty of the rEVOLution ... things are happening that none of us could have predicted.
But who are these people? How can we help them? What do we do next? I don't know, but I do have two recommended solutions. Doubtless a lot of you have solutions, too. So let's hear them.
My recommendations are two-fold:
1. www.RPrepublicans.org should be reserved by someone so we can visit it and find out who is who and decide if we should support them.
2. The Creation of an RP Political Action Committee so that people who want to help, but don't have the time to get fully educated, can have someplace to donate.

These are good ideas except that they are for others to execute. The best ideas for promoting your values in government begin with "I". Here are some of mine:
I will attend GOP monthly meetings in my county.
I will take every public opportunity to ask my candidates to share their views on: the rule of law, individual liberty, limited government, free enterprise, and national defense.
I will listen to them every time. I will respond by telling them which answers they gave are insufficient to get my vote.
I will take every public opportunity to promote any candidate who gives Ron Paul answers to these questions.
I will promote "trickle up integrity" by making sure any candidate who does not represent conservative principles must face these conservative challenge questions no matter where they go or what future offices they run for. I will accomplish this by encouraging like-minded folks to do the same thing throughout the country.
In just a couple weeks we'll be launching our organization, The Alphaville Decoder, which is a tool for empowering individuals to represent their values in local government. These are just some of the components we will be looking for ways to help individuals enhance in their own lives.

You might contact some of the people who have declared for office as Ron Paul Republicans and interview each of them. I'd bet those interviews would make some good articles for you to publish here on the 'Chart.
Ron Paul, although his views are great, will not win due to his lack of charisma. I think our best chance of getting a RP Republican in office is much closer than we think. Rand Paul is deeply involved and has a lot of the same political leanings as his father. He is also young, attractive, and charismatic. I believe if there is any chance of getting someone worth while in office, we need to look towards Rand.
