McCain, Huckabee, Ron Paul - Whose Lips Are YOU Reading On Taxes? McCain just flip-flopped on taxes, echoing Daddy Bush... Huckabee's pushing the (ha ha!) "Fair Tax" - think you can believe them? Ron Paul has spent 20 years voting against all taxes... Who are YOU going to trust?by creator

Did you hear what McCain said on ABC this week? "No New Taxes." Sound familiar?
In an amazing coincidence, the day after George "No New Taxes" Bush endorsed him, John McCain made a hauntingly familiar promise to try and persuade you to vote for him.
Of course, if you've been around the block, you'll remember how seriously "Daddy Bush" took his own "Read my lips! No new taxes!" promise. He reneged on it during his first term as president, more than likely why he had no second term.
Will John McCain do the same and flip-flop again? Considering his record, it shouldn't be too hard to figure out:
McCain authored an amnesty bill for illegal aliens, but now claims to be for strong borders
McCain gave us the McCain-Feingold bill restricting free speech
Mike Huckabee, one of the other two remaining Republican "front runners," would likely be even worse. As governor of Arkansas, he raised taxes substantially, and now pushes the so-called "Fair Tax"... a misnamed taxation disaster second only to the present perverted IRS nightmare.
On the other hand, there is still a Republican presidential candidate with this sterling record:
Ron Paul has never voted for a tax increase of any kind
Ron Paul has a plan for massively reducing federal spending
Why don't you hear about Ron Paul on the news? Why, when you do, is he called "unelectable," "quirky," and every other name in the book? Because the news is almost entirely owned by the military and industrial corporations with a stake in continuing global warfare and spending billions on military efforts around the world.
Both McCain and Huckabee are fair-haired Council on Foreign Relations favorites, both shamelessly pushed and promoted by a major media intent on continuing the global warfare / welfare state. And so you can be sure that ALL their posturing on taxes is nothing more than deceptively pandering window-dressing.
It's time to look past the superficial sound-bites, ignore the "front runner" posing about trivially meaningless "changes" and phony "tax cuts." Read! Study! Think for yourself, America! Choose Ron Paul for a real change and put the US back on track to real prosperity!

You are right on all points. Too bad American's are too lazy and self-absorbed to pay enough attention to see that yet another election outcome is being craftily manipulated. Obama supporters, enamored with his speaking skills and "change" rhetoric, cannot describe one single thing he's accomplished nor to what he will "change" things. The vast majority of the Republican voters were tactfully lulled into believing all of the MSM/GOP's baseless anti-Paul innuendo in favor of Boom Boom McCain's liberal platform and posse. In the midst of the initial phase of a severe economic crisis, they ignored Boom Boom's ignorance of economics as masterfully exposed by Ron Paul during one of the last debates.
In the end, the majority will get the government that they deserve. Too bad the rest of us have do suffer under its debilitating tax burden, hyper-inflated fiat money, and fascist trampling of our Constitutional rights. I guess the majority has not yet reached the threshold of pain sufficient to wake them from their apathetic slumber.
I, for one, intend to do as I have done for the past 20 years, pouring the strongest "truth" coffee in hopes of waking up a few of my fellow countrymen. It can't hurt and beats just sitting around watching our once-great nation going down the proverbial tubes.
Good points covered well. It is simply amazing there are people willing to buy something, complain about how bad it is and then lineup to buy it again! Keep putting it out there creator, one day the awakening will spread! Thumbs up and socially bookmarked!

Right on, Dann! Excellent article. It is literally a shame that America is so dumbed down by our "fair and balanced" MSM. Those that are supposed to disemminate facts, not distortions, are a blight on our freedom and liberty and are worse than the purveyors of lies and bs in the halls of Congress. It is the media that distorts the reality and convinces Americans that what they see is what is supposed to be.
But, here I am, preaching to the choir. I try to enlighten as many people as possible in my daily life and hope all that are reading these excellent posts on NolanChart do so, as well. Thanks for the forum, Walt, and for your excellent article here, creator!
Bob Miller.........................your sarcasim is only exceeded by your stupidity. You don't get it and probably never will.
FYI...........I'm sure there are Ron Paul supporters who live in trailers. God bless them !! If they didn't have to pay an unconstitutional "wage tax" on their hard earned, proprietary money, they could probably afford to own a real home.
I don't know where you live, but I have $5,000 that says my home and land is nicer than yours. In spite of unbearable taxes and government interference in my business, I got this property the old fashioned way....I earned it.
God bless Ron Paul. This revolution will succeed in spite of the ignorant masses, of which your appear to be a member of.
