This isn't meant to be a long letter, but it is meant to be a strong letter all the same. I am here urging anyone who supports Ron Paul in the effort to educate others about Dr. Paul's foreign policy. Many people I have talked to say the one thing they don't like about him is his non-interventionist foreign policy, so we need to tell people why it is the right path to take in order to "fight terror."
Sadly, and I include myself in this, not many Paul supporters know enough about the issue to defend the issue. So we must first educate ourselves. The weekend before Super Tuesday I was talking to a girl at my church about Ron Paul, and she said that she would only support a candidate if he was pro-life, which gave me the perfect opportunity to tell her about "Jane Roe's" endorsement. But it appears that my friend votes on other issues, because when we got to talking about Dr. Paul's opposition to the war in Iraq, she totally disagreed with him. And I'll admit, I had a hard time talking to her about it.
So let's get out there and advocate peace, rather than nonsensical war.

I would say it's about knowing you have a legitimate enemy, knowing them well, and then if possible defeating them without fighting.
Al Qaeda's stated strategy is to bankrupt us. Their greivances are our occupation and meddeling in the internal affairs of the Arab and Persian states. They do not like that we bombed and sanctioned Iraq for 10-years and the misery it caused the common person over there. As you imply, we must understand WHY people fight us, not just that they do.
