The shame of it all
It's a shame that the mainstream media and the Republican Party, itself, have marginalized Rep. Ron Paul, Texas. In case you haven't heard, he IS a candidate for President. Ron Paul is one of the only true conservative Republicans in Congress and would take our country in a renewed direction. I say renewed, because his beliefs are that we should return to our Constitution as the law of the land. We have drifted far afield, my friends. He is for less government control of our lives and our economy. He is against nation building. We now have troops in over 130 countries across the world, telling each of them how to run their business. We are interfering in areas of the world that resent our presence. We are not engaged in the non intervention policy that George Bush ran on in 2000. The Federal Reserve, which IS NOT a government agency, but a corporation controlled by big money, prints fiat currency at will. That is the reason for the devaluation of the dollar… Plain and simple dilution. We cannot, as a nation, continue to act as an empire. We cannot sustain it any more than any other empire throughout history... The Romans being a prime example.
Apathy is going out of style
The young people of our nation are more engaged than ever before. There are many older Americans that have never been involved in the political process that are shedding their apathy. The message of freedom and liberty is not dead. The message will continue, and in the end I hope that America chooses to heal itself by returning to the intentions of our founding fathers... Government for the people and by the people. If you would like to know more, then it will require a little effort and time to gain the knowledge that has been kept from us by our government and big money interests through the mainstream media. The internet is the best source. So, if you are not already aware of the man, but more importantly, his message... Google: Ron Paul or go to the official website at RonPaul2008. After taking the time to discover the real Ron Paul and his message, you will want to support him. Donate through their official campaign website secure server.
Time for something different
Ron Paul is certainly not the same as the other candidates, be they Democrat or Republican. For the most part, they have been and continue to be part of the problem and not part of the solution. Ron Paul's intentions are to redirect the way our system of government has evolved. He has, does and would continue to do so by continually bringing voice to common sense, straight forward ideas and initiating policies based on what our government was founded on... The Constitution. The great difference between the past and what he can accomplish in the future would be the podium from which he could speak. Somehow, it would be difficult for the mainstream media to marginalize the President of the United States. We, as a society, have been dumbed down by our media, our education system and the influence over our understanding of basic economics in a methodical way by people larger than our government; people that control our money, our media and our major corporations. They determine what we see and hear and what is presented to us as normal. Because of those influences, our government has evolved in a very dangerous direction. Lobbyists from these large centers of influence roam the halls of Congress taking the time of our representatives and literally romancing them to vote this way or that, irrespective of what might be best for the people. These same lobbyists are not mere hucksters. No, they are attorneys and former lawmakers (read old colleagues) that represent what we commonly shrug off as just a couple of words, thrown around with indifference... Special Interests. It's normal. That's what lobbyists are supposed to do, right? No... but, it's not that simple. What really happens is that these special interest lobbyists actually draft legislation that is directed toward benefiting those that pay them. Then they take the package, ready to personalize, to a lawmaker that will put his or her name on it and present it to Congress to pass and fund. Does that sound reasonable to anyone reading this? Is this what we should, as a people, allow or accept? Why doesn't anyone say anything? Why don’t our Representatives in Congress stop and think for a minute... "This isn't right. We shouldn't conduct the people's business in this manner."
Back where we belong
Should we be spending billions and billions of dollars that we don't have, in places we shouldn't be, telling others how to run their lives or evolve their society, risking our young men's lives for no good reasons? I'm just asking. We wouldn't tolerate it if another country came over here and said, "We need to plop down here and make sure you do things right and play nice," would we? What do you think would happen? Might we pick up and bear arms, like our Constitution tells us to do? Maybe... if we still have the right to bear them? Would we allow another country or foreign power to come into our country and buy our Real Estate at wholesale prices? It appears so. They hold the mortgages and titles on some of the most prime Real Estate in the country. Once this housing and mortgage crisis, hatched on us by unscrupulous bankers and allowed by the elected officials that control the laws, comes to an end... let's see who owns all the good stuff in markets that will benefit most in a recovery and generate the most profit when they are resold. But, I digress...
It's only money or is it?
We borrow from China so we have money to blow up bridges in the Middle East and then rebuild them, while our own bridges are falling down. We... not you and me, but our representatives, spend more money than we have coming in, in such cavalier ways and in so many directions that spread us so thin, that we will not be able to sustain. Is anyone besides Ron Paul making an issue of these things? Did you know that if you compare the value of gold and oil, they have remained in parity for many, many years? Why does the price oil go up and value of gold ascend? Because, our money becomes worth less as it continues to be diluted through the printing of additional fiat currency… Federal Reserve funny money. Haven't gold and oil continued to go up year after year, regardless of which party is in the White House or controlling Congress? It's not the party that is at issue. It is the system and unless a voice of reason steps up and says enough is enough, things aren't going to change. Not even the rhetoric. That voice is available to hear, but it is laughed at, ignored, deemed crazy and continually marginalized. If the Founding Fathers were here... who do you think they would vote for? My guess is that they would support Ron Paul. I think they would also consider a goat as a good second choice over the rest of the field of candidates.
It doesn't matter which party is in office... They are not in control anyway
Don't think that ousting every politician that has served for over two years is a way to solve the problem, either. While I did speak of the system being the problem, it is not necessarily each and every politician that misses the mark of being part of the solution. Ron Paul, as just one example, is the type of individual politician that we, as Americans, should be aware of and continue to support in Congress. I would hope that there are more of those individuals in Congress and expect that there soon will be. Maybe those individuals would raise the same voice if they truly knew that the American people were becoming more aware of the issues that truly affect our daily lives and were willing to support them and not condemn them if they spoke too loudly. That time is coming. We need to continue to support the ideals of our Founding Fathers… the ideals that Ron Paul speaks of on a daily basis. It is interesting to note that, if you look deep enough into the videos available on the internet, you can find footage of Ron Paul speaking twenty years ago. The message he sends has not changed. It is unfalteringly the same now as it was those many years ago.
Let's face it...
Ron Paul has put himself out there in a much larger way to be scrutinized and marginalized with his Presidential candidacy than if he had sat back in Congress and only been visible on C-Span. He has been treated quite badly by the mainstream media and it takes a tremendous amount of courage to endure that and continue speaking out. Should Ron Paul, or an individual like him, be successful some day in gaining the White House before it is too late and our "empire" fails, it will be because of the message that he has made Americans aware of and the courage that he has shown to speak out. In the end, should he go back to Congress to continue the fight and we are faced with the choice of the lesser of two evils in November, we cannot lose the message.
Power in all the wrong places
If you are not aware of the Council on Foreign Relations and what the intent of the CFR is, go once again to Google. On Google Video, do a simple search of "CFR." This is the type of information that would shock and appall most Americans if they knew about it. If you have the stomach, after finding out the true agenda of the power elite that hovers over our way of life, you could look further into "The Bilderberg Group" on Google Video, as well. If you can make it through all of this and not turn your head away, thinking "This just can't be true. I'm not willing to believe that!" then maybe, just maybe there is hope for America and the message of freedom and liberty. Maybe there is a chance that we, as Americans, are ready to seek out and listen and discover how things are very far afield of what our Founding Fathers envisioned for us as a nation.
Change is possible
Change is essential at this point in time. We need to continue to seek out the voices of change and support them. However, there must be substance and truth behind the voices. Regardless of political party, those voices of change must ring true with the message of The Constitution, freedom, liberty and the rights of private individuals. These are the ideals that our country was founded on. These are the ideals that our forefathers fought and died for, unlike the soldiers of today that go to war to fight for oil and attempt to spread the voice of freedom around the world. Yet, how can we justify spreading the voice of freedom in over 130 other countries when we are losing that freedom right here at home? As much as I would like to respect Barrack Obama, his message of "Change we can believe in" leaves me empty. He is a member of that very Council of Foreign Relations I spoke of. He gave a very rousing speech on Saturday night after his sweep of states in the primary elections. It really sounded good, but it was just more rhetoric. I hate to say that. I like the guy in many ways. He is charismatic... a natural leader. He would be a great voice to carry forward the message that Rep Paul has been speaking. But it just isn't going to happen. So, we must be diligent in whose voice we listen to and be more pro active in our choices. If we only listen to or read the news that is fed to us, we will not learn truth. We will only know what we are intended to know.
Stay online
The internet is a truly wonderful resource. It has dramatically changed the access to truth. The mainstream media can not control its content... yet. Keep an eye out for that effort in the near future and be diligent and vocal in your efforts to protect its openness and unconstrained operation. It is the last remaining avenue of truth.
LOOK... Behind the curtain
Let's go back to the CFR for a moment and discover how that group came about and what the intention was. I will quote a documentary that you can still find online. In 1917, the JP Morgan interests hired twelve high ranking news managers. Those twelve were asked to determine the most influential newspapers in America. They were tasked with figuring out how many news organizations in America it would take to "control generally, the policy of the daily press of the United States." The group found that it was only necessary to "purchase 25 of the greatest papers and an agreement was reached. The policy of the papers was bought, and an editor was placed at each paper to insure that all published information was in keeping with the new policy." That policy was defined by a front group funded by JP Morgan and JD Rockefeller...the Council on Foreign Relations. There is much more to know and I encourage anyone reading this to do the Google on the CFR to discover the secretly stated goals of that organization.... Create a world system of financial control, in private hands, able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. In short, they seek total control of... the entire world. The CFR is the most visible conduit for carrying out that agenda. Today, many of the CEOs of the largest media organizations are members of the CFR. Can you understand why the voices of people like Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich are marginalized and their messages so unjustly muted? Fair and balanced? I don't think so.
It's in our hands
If we, as individuals, still care about our freedom, our liberty, our very way of life, then we will seek out that information and educate ourselves. If we don't, then we have to bear the responsibility of what we pass on to the generations that follow us.
