The Ron Paul Revolution has inspired the beginnings of a New Media.
Everyone who has become a part of Ron Paul's campaign for the presidency has experienced first-hand the stranglehold of existing media outlets. These outlets are presently virtually all owned by the existing corporatocracy. Because they are all working in their own financial and political self-interest, they have refused to allow the message of Ron Paul and freedom go forth to the nation.
You know the story: blatant imbalance in the number of articles and mentions of Dr. Paul, misrepresentations and outright lies about his positions on everything, direct efforts to marginalize him by name-calling and damning him with faint praise.
As part of a mass emailing sent out today, an organization known as Basic Media, Inc. with the website BreakTheMatrix.com had this to say:
"We are forming a grassroots organization and movement that will carry the words and values of freedom off the Internet and out to those millions of Americans who only receive their news and entertainment from mainstream radio and television."
Basic Media is a company founded by Rick Williams and Trevor Lyman. You will undoubtedly recognize Trevor Lyman as the organizer of major Ron Paul "money-bombs" and as the creative mind behind the Ron Paul Blimp that so successfully promoted Dr. Paul's name in recent months. Rick Williams is an practicing lawyer with over 34 years of experience, and will now put that to good use as the CEO of Basic Media, Inc.
Part of the company effort will be to package and distribute top quality radio and television shows to mainstream radio and television outlets across the United States. Another purpose of the company will be to create and maintain internet mechanisms that enable liberty-minded people inspired by the Ron Paul message of freedom to maintain communications and mutual support leading to positive change in America.
This kind of effort is clearly needed and is yet another bold move on the part of the grassroots movement inspired by Dr. Ron Paul. I believe that ongoing efforts like this can help bring about a restoration of liberty in America. I urge you to "check it out" and seriously consider supporting this effort financially and in whatever other ways you may see fit.
The advent and success of a company like this could become a key component for "waking up" the sleeping masses of Americans who have unwittingly become disenfranchised.

I think that this is a totally awesome idea! I was hoping that someone would do this. Kudos to the guys that have the vision and b@lls to get it going. I will support this endeavor however I can! Yeah!
This is great news. I was just reading about it and then saw your article. Timely...thumbs up and socially bookmarked. The revolution is gaining a voice, how sweet is that!
One great part of the Ron Paul rEVOLution is the creativity it has engendered - the artists have emerged.

As a columnist for a lowly, weekly newspaper in the Puget Sound region of Washington State, I have written in support of Congressman Pauls candidacy and have also witnessed the odd and unfortunate bias against Dr. Pauls campaign by mainstream media outlets. You might think that someone who works at Fox, CNN or CBS,ABC or NBC would come out of the woodwork to broach this bias/silencing of a viable contestant in such an important race. For the company that I work for, I have had no orders or controls for what I may write and though they are a small and only local part of formal media, they recognize the importance of freedom of speech. I would submit that it is in these small ways, by seemingly insignificant sources that larger goals are achieved and the basic tenets of the Constitution of this country are maintained.
Ron Paul has called for a march on Washington DC!!!! Everybody get ready, we're going to do it...the Ron Paul R3VOLution is taking the country back! He also suggested there might be some dirt coming out on the other candidates between now and the Convention...
