Ron Paul: A hero in our midst.

"We the people" of America, like our forefathers had a chance of standing again as the beacon to the world of Freedom and Hope. I fear we have waited to long.

There is a Hero in our midst.

We believe what we're told because we're told to believe it, not necessarily because it is the truth.

We have been told or sold on the idea that "people" hate us because we are free. So many people believe that when it makes absolutely no sense. Think about it.

Certainly someone who is or has been incarcerated or oppressed would at the most be jealous of our "freedoms".Not to hate the idea of freedom itself. Reasons without sound reasoning are unreasonable.

Logic would dictate, if given the option, they too would choose freedom rather than oppression or incarceration. Rather than kill the thing you wish to be a part of, join it or endeavor to achieve it. Moreover, human nature itself longs to be free. We hear it often in our cultures in our media through literature, commercials, songs, and television shows and news broadcasts.

In all my years I have never heard, seen, or read anything of anyone stating: I wish to not be free, lock me up or anything close to that. Have you? Remember, I didn't say told. I said heard, seen and read. It seems odd. If anyone out there has, I would thank you to show it to me or better still go and ask someone if they wish to be free or oppressed. I think the answer would be universally unanimous." Freedom is popular".

So, someone hates us because we are free. Lets go with that. In a society that uses that model for their ideology is either a circular mentality in which one oppresses the next, who oppresses the next and so on, to no end. Even the oppressor wishes to be oppressed. Or perhaps a pyramid type scheme with one or a few at the top of who wish not to be oppressed. The former goes against nature itself. I can think of no one or nothing in nature that longs to be captive or oppressed. Perhaps I'm wrong, but I feel that logic of nature rules that out.

That leaves me to the latter and that one seems plausible. Who wants to oppress freedoms? Interestingly enough, Governments do. Governments are designed to restrain, it is the natural thing for it to do. If we long or endeavor to be free this is the perfect example of "less is more". This year we had and possibly still have an opportunity to truly make a difference in our world not just our country. "We the people" of America, like our forefathers had a chance of standing again as the beacon to the world of Freedom and Hope. I fear we have waited to long.

There is a hero in our midst, one that stands for freedom, liberty, individual rights, and freedom of thought. Very rare is the one whom thinks of others first and themselves last. Sadly the opportunity may have slipped by.

It seems that all of people of America and the world who long for freedom, unknowingly have become political prisoners of our governments or perhaps we wish to be oppressed or do not deserve such a thing as freedom. For we not to stand united on the very basis of our human nature of freedom and the document upon which our country was founded, the Constitution, we certainly will remain divided. If by some chance Congressman Paul has the opportunity to speak at the brokered convention, the speech he gives will have to be the speech of a lifetime. He will need to divulge information that few want to but desperately need to hear.

When reason overcomes force we will truly be free.
