John McCain Should Drop Out Of Race For President!

If John McCain is truly concerned that the Republican Party wins the election in 2008, then he should drop out of the race for the Republican nomination!

If he does not drop out of the race, he will insure that we will have a Democrat in the Whitehouse for at least four years.

John McCain CANNOT unite the Republican Party! I will not vote for him. Neither will many other Republicans vote for him. Readers can see what I mean at this link: [link edited for length]

The evidence of party discord is plain to see for anyone even giving a cursory study to the daily news:

John McCain was booed at the CPAC convention on Saturday. In fact though the author of the following article tried to downplay the booing, tapes of the speech(and the boos), were run over and over on various talk-radio shows, and the booing was quite vigorous particularly on the subject of immigration: [link edited for length]

However, immigration is only one of many problems that conservatives and others have with McCain. In fact, some writing out there is pretty vitriolic when it comes to McCain's problems. The first link I submit in support of the previous statement is something I received via e-mail from an angry Republican day before yesterday. It is an article about angry POW families from 2005, aimed particularly at John McCain: Source

http://www.villagevoice.com/news/0408,schanberg,51276,1.html ) The war ended in 1973, and the effort to recover soldiers ended just five short years later at the behest of John Kerry and John McCain.

Another link with regard to McCain's presidential qualification is one that I included in a previous article. Some of the information is probably not applicable to whether McCain would make a good president, but some of the information provided is worth careful study of the issues concerned:

[link edited for length]

The real issue in all of this is whether the Republican base is willing to sell the soul of the Republican Party for another four years of liberty stealing policies, big government theft, unchecked illegal immigration, and our own Hundred Year War? In my case, the answer is NO! If Ron Paul or some other true conservative does not win the Republican nomination, I am simply not sure what I will do. I have even considered, as some of those have in the first link I included, voting for Hillary. My thoughts have been, if we are going to go to hell, then maybe we should go there faster, in the hopes of liberty rising as a phoenix from the ashes of our destruction. At least then, we will not watch as our liberty is leaked away in bits and pieces, while we vote to keep those in power who are lying to us about the fact that it is happening! Of course, the other option is an already existing third party, which has approximately the same effect as sprinkling my lawn with "Hillary for President" signs.

In summation, John McCain should show his true party loyalty, and drop out of the race for President of the United States! In the end, should John McCain choose to stay in the race, he will break the Republican Party asunder. A principled Republican would realize that his candidacy is divisive, and step down in honor, rather than causing his party dishonor!

My dear, your frustration is clouding your thought processes and frankly I can't blame you. But realistically, even if McCain were to choke to death today on his own vitriol and hyperbole, Ron Paul would still have a slim to none chance of winning the nomination. I wish I could be wrong, but the groundswell of support just is not there. And by the looks of things Ron Paul does not want to go the distance, as he is more concerned about losing his seat in congress.

Whatever you do, though, do not vote for Hillary. I suggest a support group to rid your mind of such poisonous thoughts.

Um, and just how is Hillary any different than McCain?

I suggest you think. Then vote. Personally, I couldn't give a **** if Paul wins a nomination or not. That's what the write-in is for.

Of course, that all begs the question: was John McCain's ultimate goal the destruction of the GOP?  His overall record sure seems like it!
