Everyone knows it. It's time to say it out loud. Senator McCain, yet another question about electability -- Do you have any, sir? by creator

John McCain is unelectable. There. I've said it. It's the plain, bitter truth, and no bones about it.
That's what we've all been thinking. Instead of pussyfooting around, wondering whether McCain can "woo the right without compromising" or if the GOP will "close ranks behind McCain," let's just say it and go home. John McCain is NOT electable.
Could the GOP possibly have picked a worse candidate? That liberal author of the McCain-Feingold abridgement of free speech and the McCain-Kennedy amnesty travesty, the senator endorsed by "Republicans for Choice", the presidential candidate who by his own admission doesn't understand economics?
Behold the unmitigated gall of a Republican party leadership that undoubtedly orchestrated the stepping down of Mitt Romney. That was, of course, their last and only hope of forestalling a brokered convention at which a true conservative, Dr. Ron Paul, might have been heard by the rest of the country -- a country from which his message of peace, freedom, and prosperity has been so painstakingly hidden.
This is very reminiscent of the time not so long ago in California (Kal-i-forn-ia?) just after Grey Davis was recalled. McClintock would have been a shoe-in Republican candidate, truly conservative. What did the "Grand Old Party" do? They persuaded liberal "Ah-nuld" to run. California conservatives are still paying the price for foolishly making that devil's bargain as the "governator" signs bill after bill that flies in the face of decency.
As I pointed out yesterday (see "McCain Coronation Sounds Death Knell for GOP",) the American public now has the internet to keep us informed. "Mainstream media" need no longer apply, and consequently more and more voters will wake up to the utter bankruptcy of a two-party system that has been herding this nation down the broad road to hell.
Thank you, GOP, for having now shown us your true colors!

Surrender is not an option. RP supporters, stay the course. If Dr. Paul is not on the ballot in November, write him in. If each of us educates 10 other people, and they each educate 10 more, we can win this. The future of America and the world is at stake. We must never give up!
I think Kansas came to that conclusion, voting Huckabee at 60%, McCain 22%, Paul 11%. McCain scares me. It takes him a long time to admit he's wrong on an issue. That's going to get more soldiers killed in the desert for nothing.
If this election comes to a choice between McCain and Hillary, I'm writing in my dog's name. At least she's never bit anyone!
