A long, long time ago I can still remember how being American used to make me feel And I knew if I had my choice That I could make some noise And maybe I'd be happy for a while. But the government made me shiver. With every lie they could deliver. Bad news on internet, I couldn't take one more threat. I can remember when we cried.
When I read about his tuesdays loss. But something hurt me deep inside. The day, America died. So...
Refrain: Bye, bye Our American Dream Drove my Ford to the car lot but the car lot was gone.
Them good ole boys were drinking beer and wineSinging this is the day that Freedom died. This is the day that Freedom died!
Did you write the Constitution And do you have faith in the Institution, If the Bill of Rights tells you so? And do you believe in Ron Paul?
Can he save your Nation's soul? And can you teach me how to be free or just watch the super bowl? Well you know I'm in love with him Cuz I saw him on youtube.
We all made signs and put them online. And we dug those freedom rhymes. I was a lonely tax protesting guy.
With an old harley and a pick up truck But I knew we were out of luck, The tuesday, the rLOVEution died I started cryingRefrain:
Now for seven years we've been lied to.And most grow sick of the endless wars.
But that's how it is going to be, When the scary one held hands with the saudi king In a coat he borrowed from satan.
And a voice that came straight from hell Oh and while the king was smiling down The scary one stole his oil fields
The UN was adjourned. No verdict was returned. And while some read a book on tax The IRS practiced in the dark.
And we sang sad songs in the park The day, that Our Freedom died We were singing...Refrain
Hell on earth one summer morningThe missiles came without a warning.
Ten miles away and coming fast. They landed in the grass.
The air force tried for a quick response. With the scary one in a bunker way out west. Now the end game had caught most off guard. It was now time to face the fraud. We all got up to run.
But we never saw the sun. As the army tried to take the streets. The marauding bands refused to yield. Do you recall what was the deal the day, America died? We started singing....
Refrain
Oh and there we were with a beat up face A nation lost in space. With no time left to be free again. So come on, JFK be our hero, Jack come back. Jack died in a flash, while he sat in the back seat of his limo. Because he wanted to get rid of the CIA and the Federal. Oh and as I watched him lose his brains. My heart was broken from scene. No angels there to save his life. It was the beginning of all the strife. Now the scene was out of sight in the redwoods. The evil men with their sacrificial rite. I saw the Devil laughing with delight. The day, America, died. He was singin'...
Refrain
I met a girl who loved Dr. Paul. And I asked her for some happy news . But she just frowned and began to cry. I went online to his sacred site. Where I'd read the truth just days before. But the page there only had a 404. And in the streets the supporters screamed. The people cried, and the patriots dreamed. But not a word was spoken. The truth websites had all been taken. And the three people I admire most. The Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost. They caught the last plane to nowhere The day, Our Freedom, died. And they were singin'... Refrain
They were singin'...
Bye, bye Our American Dream. Drove my Ford to the car lot but the car lot was gone. Them good ole boys were drinking beer and wine. Singing this is the day that Our Freedom died. This is the day that Our American Freedom died!
