WAKE UP!!!

What you all may not know!

The entire time that everything was going on, people all around the United States, and even some parts of the world, have been reading online and watching the events unfold in the United States 2008 Presidential election.

A bit of background will tell you that the reason people overseas pay attention to the election of our leaders is that they are directly effected by those that take office and decide what to do with our nation. These people are talking about ONE candidate. From the caves of terrorists to the suburbs of college towns, Ron Paul is the only candidate that is liked.

First glance, and there isnt much there, but start reading about his platform, what he stands for, and soon you begin to understand Ron Paul is not just an ordinary Politician. In congress for 20 some years, Ron Paul has been the Champion of the Constitution. Never voting yes on unconstitutional legislation, even if he did so by himself. Dr. No knows whats in that legistation, more regulation, of the people, for the people.

RON PAUL WIKI?

Now that you know Ron Paul has a history of upholding the constitution let me tell you something else you may not know.

Ron Paul is in it to win!

Despite popular belief the campaign is not over, the fight has just begun, getting delegates to the state conventions is the first step, the second is getting those delegates to the National Convention, as people gain and lose support we will be there.  Every online poll, every election, every primary, every caucus. We will be there.

We may not look like Ron Paul supporters but that is because there is no commonality that bonds us in fashion, just in belief.

FREEDOM IS POPULAR

One of many sites

Now everything has been discussed, Super Tuesday results are pouring in and EVERYone wants to get their voice heard.

We hear you, telling us he won't win

We hear you, telling us he's done

We hear you, laughing at him in the background

We hear you, calling us bots, and kooks.

Now hear us, we are not giving up

Now hear us, we will never quit

Now hear us, plotting as you laugh

Now hear us, bots and kooks, maybe

but better to be a bot and a kook for freedom than a reguime of war around the world chasing an enemy our own allies hide from us.

WE Support Ron Paul for the ideals of Freedom that he brings, the ideals of a limited central government, and the strict following of the constitution, and yes the bill of rights counts.

Hear us, as we chant, hear us as we plea,

the protesters, will never go away, the truthers will never be swayed, and those that believe something very different from everyone else will never give up hope.

Hope for America, Hope for the World, this is the message, it will be heard.

Freedom Rings loudest in those who listen.

Well, that was coherent. Amusingly, the four friends I have in Europe , the one in Africa, and the two in South America have an American they are interested in, but it ain't Ron Paul. Most people I've talked to overseas are interested in Al Gore.

But hey -- to each his own. I understand Libertarians a lot better now that I understand that none of you even cares what the majority wants and cares about.

"Hey! What about Ron Paul? He really tore them up yesterday, didn't he? Here we have the one candidate who has shown above all others that he wouldn't take the actions necessary to defend this country. Hey .. he couldn't get more than 3% of the vote in Georgia. It's about time for you Ron Paul folks to fade into the woodwork, don't you think?

Oh, right. Almost forgot. It's all the media's fault. The media just wouldn't give Ron Paul the coverage he deserves. The newest tact being used against me is that my failure to promote Ron Paul is due to corporate influences. I'm supposedly getting marching orders from some people far up the corporate ladder ordering me not to discuss Ron Paul ... to ignore him. Fine. Whatever explanation works for you works for me.

Fact is .. there is no way in hell I'm going to support or vote for a candidate who wants to cut and run in the war against Islamic fascism. Period. End of story. "-Neal Boortz

Statist troll strikes again. Yeah, like a neo-con like Neal Boortz is supposed to be believed. That blowhard is more interesting in occupying and gutting the Middle East and its oil than about national security. Please.

I concur that people overseas are watching this election. And there is more media coverage overseas than some would care to admit.

Before you vote for who you like I ask you to please look at Ron Paul and his record. www.ronpaul2008 Why does Ron Paul stand against the war? What is the history of US involvment in the middle east? If you don't know then study the subject regardless of who you are voting for. If we go to war with Iran can you afford $5.00 a gallon gas? What is Ron Paul's voting record? What are the other canidates? If you compare these then you will really see. Why is he so against the Federal Reserve? Why is he the only canidate that speaks about the falling dollar? Ron Paul has a great understanding of the monetary policy. Please take a look at it. Do we have enough money to keep up these wars across the world? If so where is the money going to come from? BTW if you are going to say bad things about Ron Paul justify your statements with some kind of facts or figures. Please study the subject and put out your intelligent points insead of "he is just crazy or get a tin hat". If you can't back what you say then don't say it. Eric. Abe, your right about the overseas coverage. France 24, Al-Jazeera, and BBC World have ignored Ron Paul too.

Ron Paul needs to get radical and sensational. I know it is not his style but the gloves need to come off. Call a spade a spade with these wonkers. You want 100 years of war, vote for McCain. You want to learn chinese and never ending tax increases vote Hillary. Be radical and guys like McCain will react, and then you are in the news, and you can get your message out. The way you are doing it now, no one is listening. This is America after all, and everyone likes to talk about something. Give them something to talk about Ron!

What the majority want?  This country was founded to provide the individual with what they want.   For freedom and prosperity.

You statists want a majority to rule over the minority.   That is what is otherwise known as slavery.  You can't have 5 wolves and 1 sheep and vote on whats for dinner.

At the base of every group is the individual.  If you leave your base unattended, and only focus on the group, or the majority then you will crumble, just as every other country has in history.

Can't you people come up with anything new besides some stupid (and misleading) line about sheep and wolves?

I'll give you a better one to use : statists do NOT want five wolves and one sheep. Statists want one shepard and 5 sheep.

You don't ask the sheep where they should go, and you don't ask the sheep's permission to shear their wool. Taking their wool doesn't hurt the sheep, and the shepard looks after them and protects them. If the sheep decides to wander off, the shepard tries to herd them back in.

If the sheep manages to wander off, that's how it gets into discussions with five wolves.

So we are sheep? lol and the govt is the herder oh come on. Surely you can come up with some thing better than what you pulled out of your bible. Religion has no place in politics it is already heated enough.  But just in case it wasnt about religion lemme tell you what an individual wants. I want the shepard to go take a flying leap i want my wool for myself i grew it and can sell it because it is my property.

STATISM is what you are talking about, the govt taking care of the people, telling them what to do, leading them around like sheep so those in power can have what they want of my taxes.  the fact is it is a metaphor and yours sucked!!!!!!!!!!!

the wolves and sheep deciding dinner is a good metaphor for what government is; Time for the sheep to start talking about whats for dinner instead of the wolves. or the shepards.

The argument is simple i dont need or want the govt in my life and if the revolution (hence this ideal is supported its called Limited Government) continues as it does itll be the sheep telling the government what to do.

The wolves have been feasting too long in my check book time for them to start paying their debts to the people.

Sounds like Logical Premise is a communist to me. Government doesn't own me, protect me, feed me, house me-- and it sure the hell doesn't shepard me.

Jackasses like you need to be self-employed for a while and then put your own money in a private business (NOT one that sells a damn thing to any government affiliated entity) and pay taxes for a while.

You know what? The only f*king thing my government has done for my family *for generations* is to TAX US. After this election, I'll give that privilege to some other government, just to spite jackasses like you, who knowingly think that our proper place in this world is to be some bureaucrats' cash cow and virtual slave. I can think for myself, thank you very much. F* them and F* you sir!

Hey, Kimble?

Just so you can feel like a complete fool: I did start and own my own business. Sold it for a pile of money, too. Paid my taxes, and I don't have a problem with it. Donated money to charity.

You and people like you are bitter because you don't MATTER, you never have, and you never will. You'll never amount to anything, and no one will care what you think, and your only importance to the Paul campaign is a sheep.

I find it vastely amusing that you libertarian frauds like to refer to anyone who disagrees with you as "sheeple", but don't like being called sheep yourselves. If you don't love this country as it is, get the fuck out, traitor. I can't believe I spent eight years in the military to protect a pack of blind idiots like you.

Go talk to a real libertarian, though, before you traitor your way out of the US to die in some fifth world hell-hole, and maybe Christine Smith or Gary Wood can straighten you out.

Libertas: I'm sure the sheep feel the same as you, sir. Pity.

I hope ALL the sheep feel the way i do then maybe we can get something accomplished in this country. However, as far as getting out because we are unpatriotic. I am in the Army, so don't even start going on about serving your country.  Its not all that cracked up to be, im sure you know the meaning of a cluster F***.

The point of loving the country is based upon our hometowns and the freedoms we enjoy but the REALITY is that government is into too much, they have themselves and the American people spread very thin, especially when it comes to the economy.  So if you dont like the way it is, then respect my freedom to try to change it the way i like it, i mean when you boil it down isnt it easier to protect the individual then groups? and if you would please refrain from using the word traitor, i highly doubt that your history is as accurate as you would like it to be and i would very much not like to have to explain exactly what that would entail about me or gimble.

As far as the rest goes logical, feel free to continue posting, the more POV's that are online the easier it is to make the correct judgement, and from time to time you will still make mistakes thats part of being human.  So, PEACE !
