Why "The Moon Is A Harsh Mistress" -- a classic Heinlein Sci-Fi novel from the sixties -- should be required reading for all Ron Paul rEVOLutionaries. by creator

I have been a science fiction fan ever since I can remember. As early as the second grade, I would comb the library shelves looking for sci-fi to devour. It was inevitable therefore that I would encounter the work of Robert Heinlein, "Dean of American Science Fiction Writers."
"The Moon" is a tale of revolution, set in a different place and time, but highly relevant to today's Ron Paul rEVOLution and the momentary disappointment of Super Tuesday. I have read my own dog-eared copy a dozen times if once.
In the tale, the Moon is a penal colony, a place to dump the dregs of society. As years pass and children are born, much like Australia, the Moon becomes its own nation - but still under the tyrannical control of "The Warden."
At one point in the tale, Mannie, hero of the piece, thinks he has failed miserably. He thinks the revolution is over. Professor Bernardo De La Paz sets him straight by telling him that, although the odds are still long, they are considerably better than they appear.
In the United States of the early 21st century, in spite of superficially discouraging appearances I am still hopeful. I have been observing the political process for a long time, and have been "battling the man" for decades. Through Dr. Paul's patient and principled leadership, a sea change has begun that I would not have believed possible even a year ago. Many are awakening to the desperate plight our nation is in.
You are more than likely one of those people. You know that our country cannot continue down its present path without self-destructing. You know that most Americans are still in denial, but with the hoof beats of the horsemen of the apocalypse starting to clatter through the streets of every neighborhood, more and more people will become very receptive to Ron Paul's message, and it is up to us to carry it to them.
There are still many states where primaries are yet to be run, delegates yet to be won. This is not the time to abandon hope. This is the time to stay the course, to redouble our efforts to spread the "Gospel According to Paul," to let our friends and neighbors know that there is, even today, still Hope for America.
Ron Paul is the only politician with national visibility speaking truth to all Americans. For the rest, it is "smoke and mirrors", "bread and circuses," "pay no attention to the man behind the curtain". The message of Peace, Freedom, and Prosperity is a powerful message that America needs to hear now, more than ever. We are the only media who can continue to carry that message to the nation. Will we fight the good fight? Will we finish the course?
In a day not so long ago and not very far away, a group of noble Americans pledged "their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor" to the cause of Liberty. Today there are far, far more of us. What will we pledge today for the sake of our children and grandchildren? The battle is formed, the prize of freedom is great. Will we rise to the challenge?

Wow Great Article, maybe Ron Paul supporters need to read something that is modern and new, and not something that was found at the Antique store. Oh wait, that is where Ron Paul got most of his silly ideas.
Hey if this guy almost won Main, he might win a bigger state like uh, New Mexico!

statist, here you are again with your mindless glib remarks and pointless stabs at Ron Paul supporters. Go cheer on for your status quo candidate, and leave us to our good consciences which we still have and will hold. We're here till it's over, get over it and stop scratching your head wondering how and why we continue, you wish you could get it but you just can't quite see the point.

Statist has nothing better to do than to attack Ron Paul like it is his life's mission. Even if you ignore him, he still comes back to annoy you like weeds that don't go away, even when you spray them.
Here's my Not So Super Wednesday suggestion. Vote on alternatives to the "Ron Paul rEVOLution" slogan. It was too clever. When it goes into our mind we hear REVOLUTION, not evolution.
My offer: "Constitutional RESTORATION" Drive the MSM 'Controllers' NUTS by pointing out their conflicting interests!
The Moon is feminine - you are quite right She's looking just so cool and beautiful tonight. You look quite hard, you see the knowing spirit; The glowing spirit A thing quite cold and sharp; but righteous:
A clean and pure embodiment of light.
The Moon is asking us to be With Her: She's lonely, and she hopes to have a mate She watches, and she sorrows; and she waits.
Where are those valiant spirits?
Where are are those gentle Men? The Questers and the Seekers: The searchers for the truth? Where are the Men of yesteryear: -Those knights in shining armour; Those emissaries of light The crisp and clear and shining dance
Of horses white?
The moon is waiting patiently for us She's waited now for o so very long She lives the now - and she is waiting still Let's seperate ourselves from ourselves
