The Winners and Losers of Super Tuesday/ The Fall of a ReLOVEution

McCain Up^2, Romney = Stagnant, Huckabee = Surprising, Paul = Dead, Clinton = Obama

Winners:

Mike Huckabee: As I write he gained 90 delegates from mostly southern states. The bible belt really showed their power. Huckabee takes votes from Mitt Romney who most faith based voters see as the important social conservative. He set himself up really well for a McCain presidency.

HIllary Clinton: She has over a 100 delegate lead on Barack Obama. Her momentum can begin to rise.

The Biggest Winner:

John McCain: He gained almost a 200% lead on Romney. Amazing...just amazing. I'm pretty sure now that he will win the Republican nomination. This is too much momentum to stop!

Losers:

Barack Obama: "Hillary Clinton manages to stay ahead of Obama but only by small margins," was what I said earlier today. Now it seems that Obama is behind by 100 delegates. I'm not sure if this can hurt his momentum. A close race is still possible although it may begin to look like a closed race for the Democratic nomination.

Mitt Romney: Wow, what a huge margin between McCain and Romney. I'm pretty sure that Romney will have to make a huge decision if he doesn't make a surprise win.

Update: Romney's campaign team will meet for a "realistic" discussion of his candidacy.

The Biggest Loser:

Ron Paul: Previously, I have succumbed to this notion that Ron Paul would make a surprising attack using a "rope-a-dope" strategy. It just didn't happen. Now, I believe he has absolutely no chance to survive and should probably just drop out of the race. Not a single state came in his favor.

The Compassion for the ReLOVEution:

A quote from a supporter who "submits" to the MSM.

Sorry Paul I hoped for the best for you but it's pretty apparent that the MSM has caused this huge loss for you. Your message is totally sound and in everything you have done politically. I will most likely not vote for anyone else, so when I get my chance at the polls, I will be writing your name in because no one else in this campaign has had the compassion, the demeanor, and intelligent as you have put forth in your campaign. All the others are just false hope for America....sound familiar don't you think!

If US is run by McCain, US will sink further and that is really unstoppable.  I can only say US voters have this coming to them by making brainless votes.  Those who put Bush in the White House is witnessing the worse US President in history.  A President who has no clue about how economy works and wets his pant and started initiating wars from one organized terrorist attack.  It's sad to just even see people consider McCain.

It is not over until it is over. Remember, that it is not the votes but the delegates that matter. Delegates are legally committed only for the first ballot.  If the convention voting goes more than one ballot, then they can vote for the candidate they like best. Attend your county and state conventions and become a delegate for a candidate.

Ron Paul dropping out is not likely until after the convention. He may, but I seriously doubt it. He's not still running to win the nomination. So why is he still running? Roughly 5% of the votes cast on the Republican side are going to Paul. There are more than 95% of the citizens of this great nation that need to still hear the message regarding the threats of our liberty and the need to restore the country to a Federalist Republic and change the direction. What direction? The direction that is quickly passing from democracy by majority rule toward socilism by plutocratic oligarchy rule. We are already off the path of the people controlling the government and we have adulterated the election process to a point it is more democratic than ever intended but the country can still be restored. 95% is a big target market of which some don't care but others simply don't know yet.  He's running to help get the message to as many as dare listen while there is some stage to voice it from, IMHO.

I'm signing up to be a state delegate and a precinct leader.  I'll vote for Ron Paul no matter what.

To the ignorant people that choose to vote for McCain, Romney, Huckabee -  SHAME ON YOU!  You shall be complicit in the destruction of our liberty and freedom.  I hope you enjoy being a 'unit of work', living a life of servitude to your Lords (the powers that be).

It appears Ron Paul will win Alaska by a wide margin.  That's probably why the Fascist Media is holding out on reporting the numbers for Alaska, in hopes they can find a way to claim a miscount somewhere.  I've pretty much given up on the US in terms of politics.  I'll still vote Ron Paul in the Primary & at the Caucus later this week, however if he doesn't make the primary then my wife and I plan to write in Ronald Reagan.

Ron Paul = Dead? I'd rather say Freedom = Dead. This election has been controlled by the media. I am a conservative european and would never have believed what has happened since the process began if I had not witnessed it. A disgrace. The citizens of the US should wake up.

Uh...no. Winning 2nd place and 3rd place in states where Dr. Paul campaigned heavily is an accomplishment! This was an uphill battle from the start. It's not over yet. The GOP race is still wide open despite the MSM's coronation of McKill.

Besides, the GOP rejection of Ron Paul on Super Tuesday occurred for several reasons: 1) they're scared of Romney (big states); 2) they're scared of McCain (smaller states); 3) they worship Huckabee (Bible Belt); 4) they don't know Ron Paul's the only real conservative (except for Montana, North Dakota and Alaska); or, 5) the GOP voters are sick of the Bush-Cheney kiss of death and foolishly think they can make penance for rejecting McCain in 2000 by giving him a second chance.

Abe, McCain has a momentum which is too powerful to stop. Sorry but Ron Paul won't be able to stop it. Romney's team is even thinking of dropping out of the race!

Ron Paul advertised everywhere and still couldn't break first in some states. I think he should just call it quits and maybe begin organizing a new set of politicians to step into government!
