I must start out by saying that I am not a "9/11 Truther". Honestly I have not looked into it very much. I have seen a couple things on their websites that would make any intelligent person ask questions but it has less to do with conspiracies, and more about physics and building construction. I have heard a few people talk about it recently and they were very intelligent. Sure there are a few kooks, but for the most part these people are tax-payers that love our country. And I do believe that a society is judged by how it treats it's protesters.
Immediately after the War Between the States if you would've asked any citizen why the war was fought they would've said "to preserve the Union". It was very simple. As the people that won the war started to write the history books things began to change. Perhaps they thought preserving the union would not be an accepted excuse for future generations, especially to explain the loss of 600,000 lives. When I was in school from 1973-1986 the history books told me that the "Civil War" was fought to free the slaves. Most of them still do. A little research will tell you that our history books are wrong. Unfortunately, these are the books that the government has chosen to teach our citizenry from.
We have become a society that gets our truth from two outlets: the mass media, and the government. But is it our fault? After all we have busy lives. The Jones' next door just bought a 60" Plasma TV and we still only have a 52"! We have to get Jimmy to his soccer game. AND the American Idol auditions start tonight! I really don't have the time investigate whether Obama is a better candidate than Romney and who the heck is this Ron Paul guy I see on all these signs. I'm sorry, I do not have the time to look him up on the internet.
So what do you do? Hey, I have 30 minutes free at 11 o'clock tonight, I'll watch the news! I'll swallow everything they tell me as truth. Hey, McCain is the Republican frontrunner; I'm a Republican, that's who I'm voting for! Iraq has Weapons of mass destruction? Well the president says so, why would he lie? We must invade Iraq no matter what the cost! We will stay there 100 years if that's what it takes.
Why do we believe what we believe to be truth? The sad answer is that we believe things to be true in this country only when the mass media, or the government tells us it is true. Why do most people believe that the "Civil War" was fought over slavery? The media and the government tells us so. Sure, there are some in the media and government that will contradict that, but until an official announcement is made from either, or BOTH, people will keep believing what they are told. Even Barack Obama last year said that the Emancipation Proclamation had less to do with civil rights and was more of a military charge (after the war was well under way). What happened when he said that? Jesse Jackson called and yelled at him and we never heard it from his mouth again.
The grandmother in Iowa who takes care of her 8 grandkids on the weekends gets her truth from the media and government. The president of the local PTA gets her truth from the government and media. We are fed our truth from 2 sources on a regular basis and we eat it whole. When you try to find truth that contradicts what they say you are painted as a conspiracy theorist and even worse.
So let me go back to the "9/11 Truthers". In order for "9/11 Truth" to come out and be accepted as historical fact in this society, the media (that works in concert with the government), or the government itself, will have to stand up and say yes, your government attacked you on 9/11. I will bet you my net worth and any future income that this is not going to happen
In order for me to join the "9/11 Truth" ranks I will have to resign myself to the fact that no matter how right I think I am, I will always be considered a whack-job, and even worse, by the majority of my fellow Americans. I am always interested in a search for the truth and love to expand my mind. But there are some things that are not worth the effort. And this "investigation" is a waste of time.

what's even more interesting is the fact that the "911 truthers" behave the same way, and use the same tactics, as those they rail against (as i personally experience in sharing the proofs that the videos of planes hitting the towers are frauds, and that planes could not have seamlessly entered those buildings). America is drowning in losers.
There is every indication that the country is under control of a very malicious and dangerous force. Just like something out of the scariest sci-fi novel. It's the only way to explain why we allow fluoride in the drinking water. Mercury in the vaccines. HPV shots that dont do anything except cost an arm and a leg. It's why we know all about american idol stars and football, but know nothing about the unsustainability of our petrolium based suburbiated culture. It's why we continue to import more oil than the world can even produce. It's why our economy is imploding and no one even understands the root causes or how bad its going to be. It's why we borrow and spend trillions on illegal wars. It's why we borrow and borrow and go way over our heads in debt.
I could go on and on all night long, and it all points to just one logical conclusion: television has totally destroyed the minds of americans. To the point where most dont even know who the vice president is and many cant find their own country on a globe. And if you speak out against ANY of it, you're going to be called a kook. So why draw a line at 9/11? Why talk about any of it? Why be involved at all? If everyone who had even the slightest idea what's going on had your attitude, then this is guaranteed to end badly. Probably with the extermination of all dissidents and "thought criminals", in a manner that makes Hitler seem like a saint. All the pieces are in place. All that is needed now is something to rally the people against the "dirty rotten filth scum who caused all our problems".... (twoofers, ron paul supporters, and other anti-americans) Do you honestly believe that those 95% of people under complete control of the zombie tube are going to question anything this government does? No... its only a frighteningly small minority of people who have enough reasoning ability left to objectively analyze an event like 9/11. If you're one of those, then it is your duty to do so, and to wake others up to the truth. Regardless of the consequences to your comfortable easy lifestyle. If the 5% of people who are currently awake to some degree do not do something to wake up the rest of the population, then that 5% is going to fall prey to the masses who are being used as pawns in what can only be described as some kind of sick and twisted game. And you can bet that they will come after you too, regardless of your stance on 9/11. If you think that's a whacko thing to say, then you need to spend some time thinking about how desperate people can get when they are in the midst of a total economic collapse. Especially when they're in a half zombified state thanks to a life of being plugged into the mind-sucking tube. They'll do anything, including going after those who tried to warn them. Hell, I bet Ron Paul supporters will be hunted even moreso than twoofers. The way I see it, your only hope is to get people to realize how and why they are being manipulated. And to do that, you have to understand it yourself. Studying 9/11 makes it easier to do that. And the more you study 9/11, the more you'll want to speak out.
Yeah, this investiagation is a waste of time...and our freedom and civil liberties are unnecessary as well. I agree with with iconoclast. It's time America wakes up to reality and stops letting our own gov't (the true terrorists) bully us around. Seems everyone is in a big coma of ignorance. Deep down we know something is wrong but we say "who cares, it doesn't really matter". "Even if the gov't had a hand in 9/11 I can't do anything about it".
It's time we shed our fears and be brave. It's time we stand up for what we believe in. It's time we shut down the mainstream media and major corporations that run this country right now. Wake up America!!

To me I guess it does not matter one way or the other what your history books will say about 9/11 . To me your government was involved with the 9/11 attacks and that's all that matters for those who do take the time to learn the truth. We'll always look both ways for terrorists and await sadly/happily for your next false flag attack on yourselves....Your media/government and their media/government...both are enemies of world popular opinion, can never be trusted and will pay the price with your son's and daughters..and for what?

Ive been studying 9/11 truth for years. In my opion the best video to watch is Loose Change: Final Cut, Improbable Collapse, and Stranger Than Fiction,(a box cutter promotion)
Recently ive seen Kean and Hamilton, the co-chairs of the 9/11 commission, they are stating that the CIA lied to them.
Even putting this in their books.
Also, almost 7 years after the fact, there still is nothing to officaly explaination why World Trade Center 7 collapsed.
These are valid points not directly connected to 9/11 truth that i sure will come out more in the days and months to come.
Another interesting fact for me is 2,967 people died on 9/11. Since then and estimated 1,000 1st responders have died, over 4,000 us soilders in iraq, over 100,000 iraqi civilians have died. More people have died because of 9/11 than on 9/11.

We're coming up on the 10th anniversary of 9/11 and what is widely accepted as the truth about what accured on that day is so far off the mark that by choosing to ignore certain facts surrounding that day, most people are indirectly supporting the lies that are allowing the cover up to take place. And yes, there is most certainly a cover up taking place... The reason I am writing this today is because the truth about 9/11 is that the public doesn't know the truth and many decisions effecting us today are based on the lies from that day, forward.
As the Bush Administration prepares to leave office, the 9/11 Truth Movement is preparing for all out war with the public by trying to get the word out that 9/11 isn't at all what you think it is, that it was in fact designed within our own government and used as a tool to forward an agenda that's been cooking up for a very long time. Wow, that sounds "Conspiratorial..." Just because something is called a "Conspiracy," it doesn't mean that it is without merit, but the general interpretation is that it lacks credibility and that it is far-fetched, unfortunately for any truth labeled as such, the fight to present itself fairly becomes that much harder. I've shown many people the path to 9/11 Truth, but I've never really formulated an introduction course on the subject, I've been asked to many times. What I am attempting to do now, is just that, to present, in terms that are easy to understand, that 9/11 was in fact an inside job. There are three theories that are widely accepted concerning 9/11, first is the Official Theory that Osama Bin Ladin planned the attacks and carried them out against us. The second theory is called, LIHOP, Let-It-Happen-On-Purpose, insinuating that elements within our Government knew the attacks were coming, but allowed them to take place anyway in order to take full advantage of the opportunities they would present. Lastly there is MIHOP, Made-It-Happen-On-Purpose, this theory is by far the hardest to accept, but it's the only one that I support. It's the only one that makes any sense to me after doing extensive research on this subject. I have come across many people who started out LIHOP, but later turned to MIHOP once they got comfortably with the mountain of evidence. Now the evidence is overwhelming, and one now has stop and ask themselves, "If it's so overwhelming, then why doesn't the media talk about this?" That has been by far the toughest obstacle for me, and now that I am beyond that, all I can say is that it is the most heartbreaking reality that I have had to come to terms with, because it effects us all on so many levels beyond this one event.
I have found that if I present some physical evidence first, that 9/11 isn't at all what you think it is, that it is easier to come to terms with it, so that is where I will start. According to the Official Theory, all five events on that day are directly linked to one another, and if there is some anomalies in one event, or the evidence doesn't support the Official account, then that whole theory is in jeopardy. If 4 or 5 of the hijackers didn't fly one of the airplanes, or any of the airplanes, or some of the guys on the FBI's list are still alive, or one of the airplanes didn't crash where they said it did, then you have to call into questions everything you are being told about 9/11. Many people lost loved ones on that day, here is a movie about 4 women who raised enough awareness that they were able to force the Bush Administration to create the 9/11 Commission. This is a very well made documentary. By this time you are either LIHOP or MIHOP, the Official Theory is a flat out lie, now you have to start asking yourself why our media isn't talking about this evidence (?) There are a lot of people talking and even more people not listening. Sybel Edmonds has a "State Secrets Privilege," gag order on her, it's the highest level of gag order that can be given to a human being, aside from death, I guess. Here is an article that was written by a retired CIA agent living in Tuscany that was written for an Italian newspaper, this story made front page headlines all over France, Italy, Germany, Australia, and many other countries all over the world, but no mention inside of the United States. She's important because she illustrates at which lengths our Government will go to "create" the War on Terror. She speaks many languages and was brought into the FBI's translation department after 9/11 to help decipher what foreign documents were deemed important. If you've made it this far, then you are now in the not-so-wonderful-world of MIHOP. It has to be MIHOP, nothing else makes sense anymore. The linkage between Al Qaead and the USA is a very interesting field of study, and there are many books on this subject, here is a video of Nafeez Mosaddeq Ahmed talking about his book, The War On Truth, which proves that the US never abandoned its creation of Al Qaeda after the Cold War, and that terrorism is how modern day nations use others to further their own agendas. Now that you are painfully aware that our media has betrayed us, it's important to start asking questions in other areas of our lives. I have come across many shocking realizations on a whole array of subjects, not everyone wants to hear this stuff, but it doesn't make it less so. Wars are being fought in the name of many public misconception's, good people dying, good causes getting pushed aside, and unnecessary suffering all over the world. Our financial markets are collapsing and it seems like everyone is just scratching their heads wonder why, I now know why, and it's equally disturbing as learning about 9/11. I have found ways to protect myself from these issues, and ways to deal with the knowledge, I have learned that speaking out in public isn't a good idea, I've been that Peria many times, labeled nutz, paranoid, and well informed too. The Internet is a real gift to us, it's the last frontier of the 1st Amendment, all views being shared, some truly crazy, and others, not so. Protect its freedom and you'll be protecting yours...
