An 11th Hour Plea

This message is for supporters of Governor Mitt Romney. Before casting your ballot for this man, consider the following:

Our economy is in a recession, we have already spent 1 trillion in Iraq and Afghanistan "Nation Building" (something conservatives have traditionally scorned), our government is spending nearly 1 trillion EACH YEAR overseas, the dollar is falling apart (today the U.S. dollar is worth LESS than the Canadian dollar!), the construction industry has drastically slowed, foreclosures are at an ALL TIME HIGH, unemployment is up, gold is WAY UP. My honest question for your is, do you want to continue down this road or do you want to see our country take a different course?

Allow me to explain what Ron Paul offers and Mitt Romney does not.

MUCH Less Government Spending:
Ron Paul would cut at least $150. billion from the overall budget. Mitt Romney will add $19.5 billion, beyond our current massive spending.

HOW?
Ron Paul will change America's foreign policy from one of Nation Building and pre-emptive war to one of Non-Intervention in the internal affairs of other nations. This was our founders foreign policy and we would be wise to heed their admonition.

"Peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations -- entangling alliances with none."
-- Thomas Jefferson

Constitutionally Restrained Executive Power:
Ron Paul would not go to war unless Congress votes for a Declaration of War as the Constitution demands. This happened in World War 1 and 2, our nation united and defeated their declared enemies. Every other war started without being official DECLARED by Congress, they have resulted in quagmires and endless rabbit holes of America's treasure for little or no return.

Think about it, What has America gotten for invading Iraq? How are you safer and how are you better off financially? This is Ron Paul's argument, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2WLGMLpA-20

How does Mitt Romney feel about starting a brand new war with Iraq's neighbor, Iran? What would guide him in his decision to start another war? Mitt Romney said he would consult his lawyers before bombing Iran, Ron Paul told him to just open the Constitution and READ IT. If we allow the President to usurp Congress' Constitutionally delegated powers then we will surely suffer the consequences.

Averting Economic Collapse:
Did you know that our children's and grand children's financial futures are VERY uncertain because we've mortgaged their future to the hilt? Are we committing financial suicide? This Glen Beck video EXPLAINS just how far gone this economic problem in America is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-16u9x3tfE

Ron Paul 's 4 point economic plan

1. Tax Reform: Reduce the tax burden and eliminate taxes that punish investment and savings, including job-killing corporate taxes.
2. Spending Reform: Eliminate wasteful spending. Reduce overseas commitments. Freeze all non-defense, non-entitlement spending at current levels.
3. Monetary Policy Reform: Expand openness at the Federal Reserve and require the Fed to televise its meetings. Return value to our money.
4. Regulatory Reform: Repeal Sarbanes/Oxley regulations that push companies to seek capital outside of US markets. Stop restricting community banks from fostering local economic growth.

This is by far the MOST conservative and effective plan of ANY candidate, It puts government back where it should be, INSIDE THE CONSTITUTION!

Health Freedom:
Ron is a OBGYN Medical Doctor, he understands how to fix health care, FREEDOM. That means tax breaks for health care cost, Free Market competition without subsidizes or other government favors for corporations. Freedom to use alternative therapy's, allow less expensive prescription drugs from Canada.

Mitt Romney will require that you are covered by some type of Health Insurance, either subsidized or paid by yourself. Much like Hillary's health care plan you will NOT be allowed to choose whether or not to participate. This will also take more rights away from parents who do not choose to use the "orthodox" medicine on their children.

A Strong Military:
You probably feel that this is one of Romney's strongest points, a STRONG national defense. Well what has Romney proposed? 100,000 more troops and an even BEEFIER defense budget. Where will Mitt Romney find the money to increase military spending? If he doesn't raise taxes he'll have to increase our debt and/or print more money out of thin air and cause inflation. Romney will use his 100,000 troops to invade and engage in more nation building, this will make us LESS SAFE. Ron Paul receives more contributions from active duty military and retired military and ALL the other candidates COMBINED! Our men and women in uniform want a Commander-In-Chief that Respects the Constitution and will not involve them in wars that need not be.

No Income OR 'Fair Tax":
Ron Paul has been called the "Taxpayers best friend" by the National Taxpayers Union, he have NEVER VOTED for a tax increase in 20 years in Congress! Ron Paul will dismantle the IRS and the Income Tax and replace it with NOTHING! How can this be done? Did you know that if we returned to the spending levels of the 1990's we could eliminate the personal income tax? Only Ron Paul is proposing FUNDAMENTAL cuts in spending to make it possible. He will cut the spending in 2 major areas: a. Cut 100's of billions from the 1 trillion dollars a year spent overseas, b. Get rid Federal involvement in education, this has caused far more harm than good and costs American's BILLIONS. If you don't believe me ask a teacher who they feel about the "No Child Left Behind Act".

Individual Liberty:
The Republican party used to support and defend individual liberty. Now we see the nation going in the opposite direction. Mitt Romney supports the National ID card. This will not make us safe, but it will seriously infringe on our liberty. As Governor, Romney SUPPORTED the Brady Bill and Assault Weapon's Ban. He can not be trusted with your 2nd Amendment rights. Ron Paul get consistently scored at 100% by the GOA (Gun Owner's of America). He has NEVER voted for restrictions on gun ownership.

America has a choice, go into the abyss of Unconstitutional government with unchecked Executive Power, or return to the our founding traditions of Constitutionally Limited Government. The consequences will be born by ourselves and our children.

This Super Tuesday... Defend the Constitution!
