Today, conservative talk host, Rush Limbaugh, came as close as he ever has in endorsing a candidate for the Republican nomination.

He compared Romney as the "closest thing we have in comparision to the three legs of the conservative stool ... social issues, economic issues, and national defense issues."

That being said, why did Romney rail against the Reagan philosophy in his run for Governor of Taxachussets?

Of all issues, why did Mitt flip-flop on the issue of abortion? Your either on one side of the fence or the other, not both. Pro Life, Pro Choice, ... Mutiple Choice?

A recently-released study by the National Taxpayer's Union states that Romney's proposals will increase the size of the federal government. Only Ron Paul's proposals, according to the study, would actually reduce government.

Since when in the long history of conservatism did national defense equate to defending the invasion and occupation of countries that pose no threat to us? Despite the retoric, The Founders and Reagan were very opposed to this idea of nation building. Instead, Reagan let the Soviets participate in that to their economic doom, remember?

At long last, conservatives shouldn't look differently toward Mitt Romney because of his Mormonism, but they should realize that in Romney's run for President he has sadly become a Latter Day Conservative.

Yes Reagan funded numerous "freedom fighters".

As Mr. Carlin would say, if crime fighters fight crime and firefighters fight fires, what do freedom fighters fight?

I admit I don't listen to Rush so I have to ask, did Rush say anything about McCain?
